"This company is sleezy. Plain and simple. I ordered a SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-P71 for $299. The website said it was in stock. After not hearing on the status of my order for about 5 days I gave them a call. I was told that I had to get the "accessory kit which is a great deal" to get the camera. Even though their website says the camera is in stock it somehow is only in stock if you buy the accessory kit too. This company does not sell items at their advertised price. They will only sell things to you if you buy over-priced accessories with your item. I canceled my order and will never again do business with such sleeze balls. Do not support scam artists! Report them to the Better Business Bureau http://www.bbb.org/

"I bought a Nikon Coolpix 2500 from Bilibi because they had the best price...period. I knew nothing of the company and really should have come here first. the buying was fairly easy but, after I made the purchase I was supposed to get an email confirmation of my order...nothing. The web page said to save it for my records-it saved a CGI shopping basket that was blank. After A FULL WEEEK I got a call on SUNDAY AFTERNOON by this rude guy telling me I needed to call him back to "go over some information". When I called back 30 minutes later, they were closed. I called back numerous times Monday only to get busy signals until finally I got through. I tried to dial the extension left on my voicemail, but it did not work. So, I waited on hold for 30 minutes until some rude guy picked up and then immediately put me on hold again for 5 minutes until the clerk that called me the other day picked up, asked me what was wrong and then put me on hold AGAIN for another 15 minutes. Then, when he finally picked up he verified my shipping address (why couldn't he have done this a week ago)-this was obviously an excuse to try and sell me some more stuff. He then bullied me to try and buy some flash memory at a "great price of 74.99" and when I said no, he pushed the issue and then dropped the "great price" to 39.99. I bought it just to get him off my back and get this thing shipped in time for Christmas. I then looked online at Crucial and found it for more than 10 bucks cheaper for name brand flash. I tried to call back 30 (not kidding) times to cancel the flash add-on but suprise suprise, it was busy. I will put this behind me, but I will NEVER EVER EVER do business with them again."

The salesperson also told me that Bilibi had previously sent me a backorder notification, which is a blatant lie."

When I tell the sales NO, he then say the camera is back order for 4 to 5 weeks unless I agreed to purchase the kit ( they can ship the camera with the kit package the very same day .

"I ordered a canon trv-240 on 27-Oct-02 and promptly received a confirmation email. Within a week a got the 'pressure' phone call. A very pushy and rude salesman tried to sell over priced accessories / warranties. Told him I didn't need any and he said we'll ship your order in 4-6 weeks! Order was cancelled (by them) about 2 weeks later.
AVOID these scammers!!"

I called to confirm however since i insisted I just needed the camera they kind of agreed. however I called 5 days later to see if the order was shipped and it was not.same old story! they had it suddnely in back order! what A way to do business. no concious I guess. how could you do business with constant deceptive practices and then go home at night with a relax mind! Well i recommend to be careful when dealing with them."
"All the old sayings are true - "If something sounds too good to be true . . .", "you don't get something for nothing". Just read through the other comments on this retailer and you'll get the idea. I had no desire to deal with the flim flam men, so I was relieved when my order was magically canceled after three days. I guess if you don't call in and subject yourself to the hard sell on accessories that is how it goes. Fine with me - now I can move on and deal with someone else."
