"This was not packaged carefully -- although the metal legs were wrapped in protective cloth, the seat, which was not attached to the chair frame, was not, and during shipping, maybe due to rough handling of a large awkward box, the seat bounced around and thrown against the metal legs and thus a small part of ir was chipped.
Normally, I would have returned the damaged item, but since I was under a deadline to furnish a room, I decided to bite the bullet and keep it as is.
Maybe your fine print explains this, but I was astonished that the shipment did not include the six screws needed to attach seat to legs. The seat also had no pre-drilled holes, so I had to hire a handyman to affix seat.
For the shipping price I paid ($22 or something, I recall), this was an aggravating experience all around.

"I did receive an email after placing my order stating it was on backordered, but I have heard nothing since. It should not be available on their website if they know it is backordered. I have no idea when it is supposed to arrive. I have received the same chairs from other sellers rather quickly. I would be happy to update my rating if I actually receive the chairs. "
