CONCEALED DAMAGE AND BIZCHAIR.COM (AKA BELNICK INC.) WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

"Ordered over $600 worth of training tables and upon opening the crappy shipping boxes I noticed that all of the tables had some sort of damage. some worst than others but all damaged beyond professional use. This order was the first of many scheduled as we are in the process of remodeling and extending our office space over 10.000 square feet. Because of this we will take our business elsewhere. I guess this is a "you get what you pay for" deal. The company will not own up to damaged freight. They say we should have noted it on the freight ticket. THE DAMAGE WAS CONCEALED and the driver like most will not let you open a package without signing their ticket first. It seems BizChair and the freight company have a process worked out to shed any liability for such incidents. Todays advice: DO NOT BUY FROM BIZCHAIR.COM AKA BELNICK INC."

no problems!

"I was hesitant to buy from BizChair after reading tons of bad stuff about the company. But the couch and loveseat I wanted were in stock there, and for a great price, so I went for it. They were delivered on time, and were beautifully packaged. Each was first wrapped in a foam-like plastic sheeting, then wrapped in heavy clear plastic sheeting, then double-boxed in cardboard, and strapped to a pallet. They were in perfect condition. "

My experience may not be typical, but it was great...

"After ordering a set of 4 steel stacking chairs from Bizchair - who had by far the best prices I'd seen for that style of chair - I checked ResellerRatings and panicked. Deciding to give it a little time to see what happens, my chairs arrived much sooner than I even expected, with no damage or defects - just 2 days after ordering. No problems at all - fast delivery, great prices.

That said, it is difficult to track down detailed order information on their website - it's pretty crude - and I didn't have to deal with customer service, so I can't speak to that. I just didn't want everyone to think they were a disaster when my experience went quite smoothly.

Very Unpleasant Experience

"We placed an order on 5/6/2016 and realized on 6/30 that we had not received the item. After calling, it was explained that they received the credit card payment but for some reason the order was not received by their manufacturer. Sade told me that she would call the manufacturer and request expedited shipping and give me a return call. She did NOT call me back. On 7/5, I called BizChair.com for a status and was told that the item had already shipped. To make matters worse, it was not expedited because the manufacturer does standard shipping only. This was totally unacceptable as the item would not arrive until 7/8 and we ordered it on 5/6. Receiving a product two months AFTER it was promised 7-10 days business day is not a good business practice. It gets worse, I was told the package could be returned after receiving it but we would be responsible to return shipping to California and charge a restocking fee. Additionally, I did ask to speak with a supervisor and had the displeasure of talking with Bobbie. She was talked over me and preferred the word of the employee as compared to me, the customer.
We will NOT do business with BizChair.com ever again. I noticed a review rating of 2.7 out of 10 and regretted not knowing this prior to ordering with them.

Well, at least they're not just a scam.

"I ordered a single Virco 9018 from them, because nearly every other online vendor would only sell them to me four at a time. The price was good. They messed up their paypal interface and I had to pay shipping separately, which was not a good sign. So I checked around and was scared to see they have such a negative reputation on here.

But my chair got here exactly a week later and it is exactly what I wanted. It was not packed very well, but it is a durable chair so no problem. I'm glad I didn't have to try to resolve a complaint with them, but at least I can say: they really do take your money and then put a chair in the mail for you. For the price, I've got no complaints!

Pass the buck on defective chairs!

"We ordered 50 conference chairs. 44 of the 50 chairs arrived with the same defect in the same spot that was discovered when we unwrapped the well wrapped chairs. President reviewed our claim (which was accompanied by pictures) and determined it was freight damage! Even though the defect was obviously there prior to the chairs being wrapped and shipped as the wrap was not torn or damaged. Don't waste your time or money on this dishonest business. "
