SCAM COMPANY

"This company does not even deserve even 1 star. My fiance and I ordered a couch for a relative who is moving to our neighborhood. Our family member just lost their husband and moved out this way to be closer to family. This couch was supposed to be a surprise and save them money as they adjust. The couch came DAMAGED in multiple areas. There are several open tares on the couch that are not small by any means. After contacting BizChair's claims department, we were in touch with a women named Patricia Woods. By far this has been the worst customer service experience we have EVER had. Not only will they not take this couch back, but have only agreed to refund us 20% of the total cost ($500) which is UNACCEPTABLE.

This company clearly believes that it is acceptable to sell DAMAGED products to their customers. They have a 60 day refund policy that they do not abide by! This policy is written on their webpage ( bizchair.com/returns.html ).

I would urge anyone who is looking to purchase furniture to not purchase from BizChair as they are not flexible, they sell damaged goods, and do not stand by their own policies. Again, this has been the worst experience I have ever encountered purchasing furniture, and has been a complete scam.

lowest price i could find and arrived in 2 days

"I was looking for a bar stool and bizchair was the cheapest I could find by about $15. Then I came here and saw their rating and almost ordered from somewhere else. I decided to take a chance and placed the order on Monday and received it Wednesday.

The order total was supposed to be $40 but for whatever reason they did not charge for shipping so I ended up getting the stool for $30. I feel like I got a steal of a deal at that price.

The stool arrived almost fully assembled, all I had to do was add the top which was packed in a separate box. There was also padding wrapped around all of the chrome to protect the finish. Everything was perfectly packed with no chance of it getting damaged. The stool is super sturdy and very high quality for such a cheap price and I am delighted with it.

I highly recommend bizchair and would definitely order from them again.

"Ordered an office chair. When I went to assemble it, I found that the seat section was defective. The plastic was misshaped, the stuffing was uneven, and the stitching was crooked. Also, the chair was fabric and shed badly. Luckily, I paid via PayPay, and after getting the runaround for three weeks from Belnick Inc., Biz Chair's parent company, I contacted the PayPal resolution center. I was able to get a refund, but had to pay half the cost of the chair to ship it back. Do yourself a favor and buy something locally. For what I cost me, I could have gotten a much better product from Office Depot."

"Very satisfied customer. Fast delivery. Exactly what I ordered. No damage.

Ordered a recliner on Monday 9/28 and it arrived at my house in Hamburg, NY at 8:15 Saturday morning 10/3 just as they said It would. The recliner was exactly what I ordered. There was no damage. The price was the lowest I could find anywhere.

"Lies, lies and more lies. Charges on the day of the order and then drops the ball completely. First lies about delivery date (repeatedly) and then stops answering altogether. Good luck trying to escalate - "all supervisors are in a meeting". Plotting how to swindle more customers, no doubt."

"So sad that this is what customer service has come to. I know what I ordered and since my printer was out of ink I hand wrote the specs and information such as the order # item # cost from BizChair.com. They sent a conformation letter that I didn't "inspect extremely close" I read the "Contemporary Como Red" and was content because that was the name of the chair I ordered. The difference in what I ordered and what I got was an H, that's it a simple H. When ordering I went on to the site and REFINED my search by Recliners/Massagers-- (only massaging units come up) All I know it was the only Red recliner w/heat and massage on the page, happy with it's description and price, plus the bonus of free shipping, I hit the button that said order! I paid, it shipped and it's wrong. They sent me a chair that looks just like the one I ordered but NO heat or massage. I call ASAP. they claim it's the one I ordered I gave them the order# and the Item # that I personal wrote down when I placed the order and they tell me that's not what I ordered, they tell me I ordered a rocking recliner. I explain everything I have said here that I refined and was only looking at massage units why would I order this one??? I was cut short...by everyone I spoke with. Saying this is what their paperwork says and that's all that matters. So because somehow something glitched (being kind here) Because they sent me a conformation letter with a different item # then the one I ordered and then sent me the wrong product I am stuck with this chair OR I send it back at my cost plus a 35% re-stocking fee. WOW!! Feeling scammed. The chair's cost was $380.00 re-stocking fee $134.00 plus my cost for shipping will be $$$. Really? Feeling very very scammed. The company wins no matter what $$$ in pocket plus chair, if returned. They win if the customer keeps it , they have a sale. BUT..consider the consumer, it will cost the consumer the price of the chair to return it and be left with empty pockets and no chair or be forced to keep a chair they didn't order. SAD!! I understand there are those who change their mind or simply do not like the item and if they return they should pay under these terms. But when it's a problem such as this...It's just so wrong. Belnick Inc. BizChair should be ashamed of happenings like this, it's just bad business.
Stuck with this chair. :(

"Ordered an adjustable height bar stool. When assembling this chair we were not able to attach the back as it would not align right where the screws were to be placed. Was told I was responsible for shipping the chair for a refund. Shipping cost for me was going to be $55. I paid $59.99 for it. WOW a shopping $4.95 refund. Now I'm in the middle of an e-mail war. Very poor customer service."

"I am having a terrible experience with this company! I ordered a task chair believing that their specs were correct. The chair came in out of specs and is too high for me to get my legs under my desk. I have been back and forth with the company and all they do is twist the truth and make excuses! It's been several weeks and still they want to charge me shipping to me, which was free, shipping back to the company and a 35 dollar restocking fee to return it, which is more than the cost of the chair. UNETHICAL! They will take it back at MY expense and the problem is THEIRS. I am going to my credit card company tomorrow and dispute their charges. UNETHICAL practices and every excuse in the book not to right their wrong since the specs are suppose to accurate and nowhere does it say they are approximate or there is a variance and now they are claiming it's "standard procedures".....so sick of liars cheater and thieves with these on line stores. "

"Run run run..I ordered a ghost chair for $69 and on checkout it stated free shipping with the clause over 30 + deviously written I'm certain with the hopes that Cusomers will interpret it to mean orders over $30 ...which is what I did!. To me that's as deceptive as hiding th e interest rate on a loan! I was very disappointed to see a $26 shipping fee. When I called to state I wanted tMorpheus: Try not to return it, I was told of numerous fee that would have been close to the total cost of the chair. In addition the customer service rep was very rude and when I told her how disappointed I was by their customer service she said "ok, have a good day" . I told her I would never buy anything from this company ever again and I would make anyone I know or meet knows of this experience :)"

"I had a terrible experience. I ordered 6 tables on Saturday June 6 - then got their confirmation saying I'd get a $100 credit if I completed their survey. When I did, I was offered a magazine subscription. That made me a little nervous. then I got the order confirmation and it was flagged by Outlook.com. That made me even more nervous. Then I started researching Biz Chair and found hundreds of horrible reviews, mostly about their customer service. Nervous and not willing to go through a customer service nightmare, I decided to cancel my order and find the tables somewhere else, even if I had to pay more. I sent an email using the address they provided abut when I pushed send, my confirmation page was a non-existent URL on salesforce.com's domain. Now I was even more concerned. I found another email address on their website and emailed saying I'd like to cancel my order (this was one hour from placing my order on a Saturday evening) and in ALL CAPS said, do not charge my credit card. This email went through and I got a confirmation. To be safe, I immediately sent a fax to Biz Chair with a copy of my order, saying that I do not with to place this order, do not charge my card, please cancel this! Two days later, on Monday morning at 9:45, I got a response. "We're sorry, we can't cancel your order because it has already been shipped. I was furious. I called customer service and was told that this happened because they're an online store, but they can't process a cancellation on weekends because they're not an online store. Yeah, that made no sense to me either. So I called my credit card company and found out that I had a legitimate case and I would be protected by VISA. Even if Biz Chair disputes this, VISA will defend me because I have a paper trail proving the flow and timing of events. My money would be refunded and they would protect me moving forward. They also read BizChairs aggressive and one-sided return policy and said that I would not have to comply with that because I cancelled my order in a timely fashion. I followed up with Biz Chair and they said they would take back the order and pay for return shipping, but I needed to pay for shipping to me. I explained that it isn't my fault that Biz Chair messed up and sent an order which I had canceled. By VISA's terms of service I have the right to cancel an order immediately after making it. Once Biz Chair found out that VISA was for me and against them, they backed down - like a criminal who was called out - they had no way of getting my money. THEN this evening I got an email that at 7:45 PM tonight, my tables were shipped. UNBELIEVABLE. NEVER, EVER, EVER use Biz Chair or you might get stuck in a customer service nightmare. I started thinking about how they undersell their competition. Is it possible that Biz Chair's profit strategy is in sending damaged merchandise, then accepting returns with an outrageous restocking fee? What is to stop them from intentionally shipping damaged merchandise and then making a big profit on the restocking fee (25%)? Be careful folks. "

"After reading the reviews on here, I was very worried about ordering through Bizchair. I had a limited budget, and needed at least 10 stacking chairs for our local senior center. I saw the reviews about scratched up chairs, bent, and poor customer service. But, the chairs I wanted were over $15 cheaper on Bizchair than anywhere else and with my budget, it was the only option. So, I did it. I ordered them on a Thursday, I received the chairs by Monday! Some of the boxes had some wear on them, but no more than I would expect for normal shipping. All the chairs were wrapped individually (to the point that is took a while to unwrap them all) and not a scratch on them. So - I can attest to the customer service since I didn't need to talk to them, but the order was smooth, fast and perfect. Plus, with the "sign up for their email" $25 coupon, I was able to squeeze in an 11th chair with out going much over my budget, I cannot complain at all, great experience!"

"I ordered a Commodore II for $228.99. Absolutely the worst chair I have ever owned. I gave them this following list:
1) It lean’s about ¼” to the right, putting strain on my spine to sit straight.
2) The headrest is flimsy.
3) The headrest bar holes on chair feel like they are going to break right off.
4) It feels like I am sitting on a metal bench and not a cushioned chair.
5) The back of the chair when sitting back, feels like sitting up against a brick wall..
6) Armrest cushions are thin and hard.

Then their return policy states that If I return a chair, not only am I responsible for my return shipping, I also have to pay their shipping out to me back to them. That kicker is, it is a defective chair, it leans to the right quite a bit. I will be fighting my payment to them through my company for a charge back. I made an account on resellerratings just to write this review, because it is that bad.
