"My husband used my account to order some Christmas presents for me. He is 81. In the process he was offered a discount coupon. He checked yes and inadvertently signed up for a VIP club which charges $14.97 a month. When the charges came in each month, he paid the amount. At one point he asked me what I was buying for $14.97 each month. I checked the account, found out what had happened and called Blair to cancel the VIP membership. They assured me it was taken care of. Now I am receiving a bill for balances on the account plus late fees and interest from the bank which handles their credit card service. My new bill $68.88. I contacted Blair again. I was shifted from one department to another (one of whom verified the account had been closed but said there was nothing else that could be done about the fees but I could have a $5.00 coupon for my next purchase before July 4), and finally I was connected to the bank. They offered a $10.00 reduction of the bill. Are they insane? I am infuriated. I will never buy another item from Blair or any of their associated companies,like Haband or Old Pueblo Village."

Already contacted the BBB registered a complaint, notified the bank re: to said activity, notified the authorities to protect myself, acquired new credit card to stop Blair from taking more money out of my account, .....Blair has so far taken 66.00$ from my bank account for a $19.99 item....shame I had to get a new credit card to stop them ...I tried to talk to them to fix it but they informed me they can't fix or refund because they don't show that they took the money yet it's on my bank state,ent and the bank verified such charges from Blair"
"Like other big companies they will not send a monthly statement and then charge a $21 late fee. If you complain they will cancel your account and make a credit report. Big deal. Thay cannot be trusted as other reviews have pointed out. don't do business with Blair period."

"I placed on online order for $14.99. The confirmation email charged me $34.99. I opened an online conversation with customer service. This was within 5 minutes of placing the order. She acknowledged the mistake, said there was no way she could correct it. i said cancel the order and I will place it again. She said it was already on the truck - too late!!? In five minutes? Her solution? You can return the pants when they come and we will give you a refund. Free shipping to return them? No. So I will pay more than twice what the item is worth, or $9.99 to return them and have nothing for my money. Not just poor customer service. Dishonest and probably illegal."

"Have ordered twice. Never again. First time just about every item picked in the catalog was on back-order (so had the presence of mind NOT to order those items). But the items we did order, the size-label was not accurate to the actual size of the clothes. The second time I ordered, was careful not to order back-ordered stuff again (online it tells you), but then it still took nearly 3 weeks to get the order. And the size chart for two pairs of pants was obviously wrong because they were 2 inches longer than what was ordered, although the "size" was labeled correctly.
I called customer service (foreign person) and was referred to return policy on website and in package. But there was no paperwork in the package to be able to return it, even though I was hesitating to even ask for replacements. And I wasn't sure I understood the return/exchange fees, other than it sure would benefit them in keeping shipping costs, restocking fee, and processing fee.
Not to mention the comments I read on here elsewhere about return and refund issues. We'll hem the damn pants. And the women's shirts that came 2 sizes bigger than what we ordered will be Christmas presents for someone. All in all, AVOID BLAIR AND THEIR OTHER 10-15 COMPANIES."

Quality of the item - not so fine. They were made of material so thin that I hesitated to even try them on for size. Back they went - and that will cost you another 9.99.

"I wish I looked into this site before I waited for 2 months and then NEVER get my fall jacket. As many here have stated, I was never informed it is on back order. Than after looking into it, found this out and their cs claimed it was written right there on the page. Well, NO IT WASN'T! I don't buy online and wait for 2,3,4, months to receive a piece of clothing! I go to a different site with the magic of the internet and a click of my fingers. Finally when my item was supposed to ship, they canceled my order. I called to fix the problem but they said sorry we're out, it's on back order now. HA!
I also ordered a button down corduroy shirt. I ordered EX and received a shirt that was about 3X for men. I tried to exchange to a smaller size and the smaller size was even bigger.
I agree with the others that said: save your time and money. Don't shop at Blair.com! BTW, there are 14 stores under the same ownership. They are all the same."
"Absolute worst shipping and return policies I've heard of. Not only do they deduct the shipping YOU PAID for to get it to come to your house, but they also charge a flat rate of $9.99 to return. I paid for the original shipping, I should get that back. So out of a total order of 60 bucks, you get about 35 back? are you kidding me? Will never order from this company again"

"TERRIBLE. The WORSE customer service, abysmal processing/shipping turnaround, and quality is marginal. Save your money, and shop elsewhere. Ordered a jacket it showed as ordered and shipped, checked status a WEEK LATER, and showed as backordered for a MONTH and a half! Called and it took the rep 5 min to confirm my contact info (e mail, phone, address) and yet GOT NO COMMUNICATIoN that it backordered. PATHETIC"
