"I placed an order on 11/28 online for 4 paris of pants. According to the website, the order should be shipped in 7-10 business days with an additional 1-2 days during peak holiday periods. Since I placed the order the status simply shows "in process" on their website. I called a week ago and was told the order was in shipping and would be shipped in a day or 2. It is now a week later and the order still shows "in process". I sent an e-mail inquiry 3 days ago and have not heard back still. Can't get through on their phone line as they say they are "experiencing peak volume calls" and to try again later. I've tried all day and still can't get through. Probably everyone else as dissatisfied as me trying to call and complain. I would never order from them again. "

"I ordered two items on December 8, 2008 for Christmas presents. I have not recieved the items as of December 22. I have called the company multiple times and they have said it is on its way. Today when I called, the customer service rep said it will not be processed by Christmas and then hung up on me. I will never do business with this company again. "

"I will never order from this company again!!!! I ordered 4 items from this company and did not recieve them until 7/11/2007. I sent 3 of the 4 items back the day I recieved them They were all too small and I did not like the quality of the merchandise. It looks much nicer on the website. Today is July 26, and they Blair keep telling me something different when I call each time and speak to a customer service rep. They are telling me that they don't know how long they can put the money back on my Mastercard. I am very dissastified!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Will keep you updated on the status of this return in the future."

"Don't order from this incompetant company. Placed an order a week ago, checked on it two days ago and was told it was being shipped that day, today it shows 'backordered'. Called and was told that it was cancelled and none of the three people I talked to cared that I was unsatisfied. I will never use them again."

"I do not have a question because I know the answer!! I have been a customer for 12 years with Blair and I do not mind paying the return of something but if you look at my account you will see I am not playing games like you all are, if I return something I usually order the same item in a smaller or larger size how ever I bought 6 pair of trousers for my husband and I always try to wash one pair to make sure it does not shrink however that is exactly what happened so I returned the other five pair along with the one that shrunk so you can see for your self, I am 73 and my husband is 75 and he is very slim and always wears the same size for 12 years so it is not that he is large.
My disappointment in Blair is as follows when I receive a purchase that it to big or to small I return it the same day it arrived and that same day I call and order the same order in a larger or smaller size than you ship it out and put it on my credit account immediately.
Now when you receive my return however it takes 16 days for it to come off my account at the rate of 27% interest so I am paying for the reorder and the return order at the same rate of 27% if you do your arithmetic that make me pay 54% interest until you decide to take the retune off my credit.
So at this time a will not order again from Blair and I will pass the word I have one more order coming and that will be it.
Besides the delay in the 16 days while you are waiting to put the credit back you are eating up my credit to order anything else
(example!) if I send back a return for $150.00 and my allowed balance is only $125.00 left at the same day I reorder that item they tell me I am at my limit so I will not receive my reorder of the same item.
If you can explain this situation to me that makes sense please restore my faith in Blair.
I do want to thank you for the most beautiful closet full of my clothing wardrobe I have purchased from Blair. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME RECEIVING MY ORDER IT WAS HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR YOU TO RECEIVE THE RETURN AND ME PAYING 27% interest while you were holding it in processing and traveling all over to get to you i have just receiver my credit for 179.00 dollars as of today on my account and i sent it in 3 weeks ago THAT IS MY COMPLAINT IF YOU WANT TO PLEAS ME FIND OUT WHEN YOU RECEIVED THE RETURN AND CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE 27% YOU HAD IT FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN YOU RECEIVED IT

"I placed an order on 01/19/07. A few days later I got an e-mail saying that my order is in the shipping dept. A week later it's still in the shipping dock. I called to cancel my order and the customer rep named Debra was very rude to me when she know I'm canceling the order.
The pricing is very good (for generic brand), but you have to wait for 3-4 weeks and have to deal with bad customer service dept.

"I ordered 3 flannel shrits from Blair. I was sent email that they were shipped Nov 3rd. I have called many times and was told they were on the way today is the 28th. They either did not send them or they are coming Pony Express. I do not have tracking number from them. They tell me they sent them USPS. They did not have problem billing credit card."

"got what i ordered and for correct price... good packing.

shipping is little sluggish ... took 5/6 days before got email it shipped and never did get tracking number. The item was listed as "in stock"

wasn't too bad though ... took 10 days for whole process. Just don't buy if your in a big rush.

"Ordered 2 pr. of "IP tailored shoes". They were half price. They were very nice in the advertisement.
The shoes were horrible when I got them, had 'glue' all over outer sides of shoes and the soles. The leather was very low quality.They it wrinkled severely when you took a step, plus they were painful to walk in. Soles were thin as construction paper.
Also got a cap-sleeve eyelet blouse, armholes so big that it couldn't be worn. Sweater in order was not true to size,like two sizes smaller than it should of been.
I returned all but one jacket. I kept calling the company to guarantee that I got a refund, I didn't want to wait up to 4 weeks for a credit. It took almost a week for them to credit my account AFTER they received my order back.
Watch what you order from Irvine Park. Blair owns this company too so an account for one is good at both companies BUT...Irvine Parks' clothing runs much smaller than the Blair stuff.
Customer service is non existant.
Watch buying the 'sale' stuff because they'll tell you they have the merchandise when they really don't. You may await an order 'to be shipped' out for two or three weeks then you'll come to find out they never had it.
I also purchased a men's silk sportcoat and when it came it wasn't the color shown. It had old brown scotch tape glue on back kick-pleat. Kick pleat seam was unraveling AND the lining was soiled ...as if it had been previously worn.
They did return my shipping costs so that was good.
Like I said , beware ordering the 'sale' items.
I tried to order a men's suit on sale for 1/2 off. This suit sat in the shipping dept. for 10 days. I called numerous times to find out what the hold-up was. Never got one truthful answer.
I called the home office and spoke to a man that assured me they indeed had "hand picked" the suit,(since it was in the shipping department) and he was going to check to see why it hadn't shipped.
He called my home to tell me they no longer had the suit coat in stock, (they did have ONLY the slacks). He offered to get the order cancelled since that is NOT an option to customers NORMALLY....NOT AN OPTION!!! You cannot cancel an order with BLAIR.(NOW you can.)
Anyway...TODAY(Oct.19th)..after he cancelled the suit that was half-price...on Oct.17th..WELL, big SURPRISE!!! The suit is BACK on their website..the size I needed IS available ...but..of course on the website it is not half off. Amazing how that happened, isn't it???
OK, so now I'm calling Blair EVERY day to see where the Oct. 12th order is, it hasn't shipped out BUT no one at this company knows WHY. I'll UPDATE -after- we see how this fiasco goes.

Oct.22,2005 -
OK, my Oct.12th order was cancelled 2 days AFTER it supposedly shipped. Every time I call Blair I get a different answer about what my available credit is. They are back to being rude.
I'm going to pay off my balance and NEVER shop there again.
UPDATE: Oct.25th-I returned two boxes. One had Sag Harbor Slacks and Acrylic Cardigan. Cardigan itchy, bad material, slacks supposed to be machine wash, but they were damaged by what appeared to be 'hot ironing' AND tag said HAND WASH/DRY FLAT!
Other return was Wool Carcoat from Irvine Park. Lining in right sleeve too long, very linty coat proportioned wrong. Coat was $69.99.
ONLY order what you think will fit. Returns are an absolute NIGHTMARE. Pay the cost yourself to the Post Office to return, gets there faster and was almost half their SMART(so called)LABEL charge AND I got delivery Confirmation too for 45c per box. Several times Blair people insinuated they didn't have the returns...lol. I KNEW better. I believe that on the 15th, they may have credited at least one return.
Blair has changed drastically since September,'05.
Not a very good company to deal with anymore. Gotta watch them like a hawk.

"The worst store ever!

My order was placed on 11/6. The item is on clearence and there is a big discount.
From 11/6,I received several emails from them, they told me the order is in pocessing. On 11/11, I sent an email to the customer service asking the estimate ship date,here is the reply:
Dear Mr. ...........

Thank you for contacting BLAIR.

We show your order is in the shipping area now and should ship soon.

We look forward to serving you again soon.

I was kept waiting to 11/22 and still got nth. I called the customer service at ***-***-****. Again, I was told the order is in the shipping dept and ready to ship. I can't remember the name of that rep., but she told me my order should be shipped in 24 hours.

But today I got an email from them, they told me my order was Canceled. I called the customer service again, the rep.(Jessica) told me the raincoat is not available any more, so they cançeled my order....But actually, the raincoat is still on their website. But the price is much higher($150 vs $30),I think they just don't want to sell the item at my price. They are cheating their customers.

This case really make me very very upset as I was kept waiting for about 20 days and get NOTHING. If they can told me I can't get my raincoat earlier, I will definately buy another one from another store. But they don't, they just kept me waiting and gave me a useless apology finally.

The worst store ever!!!
