I had to call twice to insure that I was ordering the correct parts due to replacement numbering and revisions and wound up overbuying hardware due to poor part descriptions. The replacement numbering only appears after the invoice is created, it was not visible when I was entering to the cart.) I appreciated the person to person phone help. I was advised by my local dealer that boats.net was legitimate for OEM components. Hopefully they'll improve the hyperlink listings for my serial number such that it references the correct parts list. I'm happy with the outcome but it took some extra effort and an hour of my time."

"Order from boats.net all the time, finding your engine and looking up part s is very user friendly and I love using the site. But the shiping via UPS ruins the experience. I pay for express shipping and there's not an update on the tracking information for 3 days is a bit outrageous. Be great if you could get the vendors you work with to use a different person to ship through consistently."

So I go on the website and check on the order status. Now it’s saying a few parts won’t be available until the end of July. Which makes it over 2 months from the time I placed the order. Website didn’t say anything about being out of stock or on back ordered. Completely unacceptable. Don’t order from this company unless you don’t want to use your boat for the season. Who knows when you’ll ever get it. Month and a half later I get to start from square one. Not a good business practice"
