"This was my first experience with BorrowLenses.com. At first I was a bit apprehensive because I didn't know what to expect. I called customer service to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed and I was on and off the phone with them within 10 minutes. I then went and ordered my lens without a hitch. The lens arrived in perfect condition and then came the dreaded return date... I received a call from a client to find that I was going to have to extend the rental for another week. I got on the phone and called BorrowLenses thinking this was going to be a problem. "BorrowLenses.com is a wonderful service. I have used them a number of times and have never had an issue with them directly. Their equipment is always packaged safely and is sent in a timely manner.

The only drawback for me is the the shipment through Fedex has been a hassle everytime. BorrowLenses charges on a day to day basis, so if I am going out of town with the equipment I have to make sure it comes in the day before. Fedex will not deliver without signature and often times it will come before I get home from work. It is always difficult to track down the package before leaving for an out of town shoot, often times Fedex being not-helpful whatsoever in helping to get your package in time. I have had them in the past tell me I wouldn't be able to pick it for a whole extra day.

This might be an issue I have with Fedex more than with the shipping from BorrowLenses, but it has been a problem every time I've ordered.
