For photography LED lights are okay, but you must have the right gear. I had to use ISO 6400, 1/100, f/5.6. The shots were great. I am glad I ordered two sets of LitePanels 1x1 as each came with a spot and a flood. Once diffused the light was smooth, and had a relatively short throw - zero spill on the backdrop. The models loved the lights since there was no flickering. The results can be seen at RedBallDivas.Com until probably Jan 2013."

"Second time I used BorrowLenses.com. Originally referred to the site by a friend after complaining about the high rental prices at some brick and mortar stores. First time I used BorrowLenses was a small order to check out their customer service, equipment etc... before doing a massive rental for a music video shoot. They have a ton of equipment at great prices... almost too good to be true... due to the great prices I was able to rent more equipment for a longer period of time than I would have been able to do elsewhere. This obviously upgraded the quality of my shoot. Because I rented a large amount of items the second time, I was assigned a VIP representative. Jonathan Fleming of BorrowLenses was fantastic. With so much equipment there were a couple small issues in regards to equipment functioning perfectly but Jonathan overnighted replacements at no extra cost and all went perfectly well without a hitch. When dealing with such expensive equipment I highly recommend buying the insurance to guard against any unforeseen incidents. As to the equipment itself I found it all to be in great shape and working order (after the initial swap out of a camera), and it all performed extremely well. Because I had so many items, the only hitches I found were their automated return department which had troubling tracking the replacement items etc... but thanks to Jonathan all was sorted out quickly. I will definitely rent from BorrowLenses.com again and have already referred them to other photographer/videographer friends."

"This is the 4th time using Borrowlenses and as usual the service was excellent. I received the lens in great condition and the receiving and ordering was simple. Price was decent too. I compared it to the local rental company I could go in person and while it is cheaper if you only need it for a day or 2, after the 4th day BL becomes the better choice. I rented the lens for 10 days. I rented the Canon 50mm 1.4 lens, which by the way is a great lens. I currently own the nifty fifty (50mm 1.8) and there is a difference in focusing speed, weight and overall feel. The boken is really nice too!"
