"Great company, great equipment - never had a problem with BorrowLenses.
My only trouble happened with FedEx delivery. In my area they are short staffed and I had to track down the driver to get the package the day it was to be delivered. At first the FedEx people said it wouldn't be delivered until the next day. I was leaving a 4:30 a.m. and wouldn't be around to get my order, so I was in a panic about getting it the day it was schedule for delivery.
Between BorrowLenses help and FedEx I got the package before the driver left town. :)

"Rented a Nikon 500mm F4 lens. As always costumer service was great. But with an expensive lens like this there are a few things that aren't spelled out. You have to have insurance coverage for the lens or allow BorrowLenses to put a $6000 hold on your CC. Short term Insurance is available on line but it is not cheap. You have to decide how you want to cover the lens.
The lens did not come with an Arca Swiss type foot/plate. Most gimbal heads for large lenses have this type of attachment. If you order a large telephoto lens be sure you can mount it on your tripod before you leave on your shoot!"

"Great process. Great follow-up. Everything as expected and on-time. The GoPro camera and accessories were well packed and in fine condition. Lots of nice, thoughtful touches too. One thing I would have appreciated - a clear, easy way to add the LCD back to the order. I sort of expected it to be included - and it wasn't. For my use, it would have been very beneficial to have had it.
