Customer service

"Put 10 mags in my cart then tried to continue shopping. Ended up getting 3 ruger mags and had to make 2 separate orders tried calling them but they apparently have no customer service representatives. I emailed them to see if they could put both orders together and didn't receive a reply for 24hrs. Then when I sent my reply I didn't get another response for 24hrs again. At this time they told me my 10 mags were out of stock to which I asked why they couldn't have told me that yesterday they said they didn't know yesterday. If this place is that big why can't they hire some people in customer service to answer a phone. I do not recommend this company at all."

Not in Stock

"I ordered from them and they said it would ship in a few days. It became a few weeks, a few months and then was cancelled.
During this time, I saw the item I purchased on their website with stock levels between 12 and 165.
I contacted them and customer service said it was a mistake, it was on backorder.
They must sell items based upon what they have ordered, not what they have in stock.
Find someone else to order from.

Worst Customer Service and I'm not the only one

"Worst customer service ever! Took an ammo order from me on 12/15 and just now sent me a message and canceled my order today saying they don't have it...I get it...there's a shortage...but don't take my order and then wait 2 weeks to tell me it's a no-go! I'll never palce another order with them"

Terrible - Worst Possible Customer Service! Don't PUNISH yourself by using this store!

"I have ordered from Botach a number of times over the past several years. Sadly, their service just gets worse and worse as time goes on. Most recently, I placed an order for two "in-stock" items. After 10 days they sent me a tracking number and "shipped" status. After 18 days they "cancelled" my order with no explanation! These items were to be GIFTS - which I had ordered in advance of time frame needed.. Now, 2.5 weeks later I have to scramble to purchase gifts from elsewhere - and likely no longer have time to get these replacement gifts in the time frame needed.

Thanks for NOTHING Botach!

"Don't order it if your really want it, find it somewhere else...you will be greatly disappointed when they tell you they are very busy and they can't give you an ETA for an in stock item."

Botach is a scam companyDo not do business with them!

"I ordered $324.00 worth of gas mask bags in september. It is now 11/20/20. They told me when I ordered it on September that it will ship that day. I cane them my card. I later called, and they said it was shipped. Now they refuse to answer my phone calls or e-mails. I am now calling (on-hold) my credit card company to get payed back. Stay away from this company. They are a fraud. "

Ordered 09/06. still not shipped. vague responses. Fraud?

"Placed an order on 09/06/2020. On 09/16, no change in processing status. Contacted via e-mail and text service with no reply or result. UPS label created on 09/17. As of 09/21, UPS still has not received package. No communication from Botach. Very disappointing because other people I know get fast service and their items are usually shipped within 48 hours of their order.
UPDATE: I've finally heard from customer service on 09/25 with a generic response of "My apologies for the delay. Your order has not left the warehouse." No details for why or expected shipment. Also note, in an email, it says that "Due to COVID-19 our phones have been turned off until further notice. We are unable to receive any calls/voicemails at this time." (a bit suspect)
UPDATE: Today is 10/08/2020 and order still has not shipped.

SHAMEFUL

"Their customer service department is atrocious and non-existent. They sent me the wrong items and I immediately sent them an email advising of the situation. Due to lack of response, I called and left a vmail since calls never get answered. When I didn’t receive a response back, I went through PayPal to attempt to resolve the issue. I even contacted their Government line (separate department located in a different building together) to have them forward my issues. I was finally given a RMA and returned the incorrect items opting to have them send me the remainder of my order as opposed to a refund. It’s been 10 days and I have yet to receive any response or the remainder of my order, so I escalated my issue with PayPal by filing a claim. The seller is given time to reply and my case is still pending. I purchased a flashlight a few weeks prior with no issues so I was shocked others have had the same horrible experience as me. For a company that caters to security, LEOs and military, they should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. "

ZERO customer service, incompetent shipping dept.

"I ordered a set of level IV ballistic plates. They threw then into a box, loosely, with just two sheets of packing paper. They bounced around during shipment, destroying the box and damaging both of the plates making them unserviceable. I immediately sent them an email with pictures attached and, I haven’t received a response. They have, however, found the time to send at least ten advertisement emails though. Where is the customer service? If you have time to send out ads, you should find the time to respond to customers who have received damaged products due to your negligence. "

Items never shipped

"I ordered in mid-July and they billed my account two days later. A day after they withdrew funds from my account, I received a bogus tracking number from them that never progressed beyond “order ready for UPS pickup”. On August 27, they claimed they needed my updated card info as they had not billed me for my order but my bank verified that they were paid in full in the second week of July. As of September 11, they still have not shipped my order. "

Worst service and dishonest products

"Recently, I bought a pair of boots from Botach and discovered they were cheap Asian knock off shoes but was advertised as name brand. I tried to contact Botach but no response. I finally had my credit card company reverse the charge. I tried many times to contact Botach, but they don't care and just sell cheap knock off items. Beware."

"This company is bad enough to be listed in the urban dictionary. Place order and get charged immediately then wait for weeks and the product you ordered still hasn't shipped. There is a reason Botach is a verb. I was Botached. Never again."

The company not the products

"I have been buying from Botach for a few years now. I use to love there service. I understand that these are times for adjustment/patience, But I started to notice a change in service before the COVID hit. Very slow service. Not sure why (assuming laws and employee quality). I get emails to review products before the order is processed let alone shipped. I will probably still order from them occasionally but they are definitely no longer my first choice. Last purchase was made on 8-7-20 shipped after contact on 8-23-20. This is not to hurt company but rather to hopefully improve."

Botach is pretty good, I have had good luck about 11/12 purchases,

"if the deal seems to good to be true they will likely cancel it, they have to make money, however their battle steel mounts, kz reaction rods, and most products are solid. They are solid, the only issue was a pricing mistake they won't honor those. Other than that Botach is G2G"

Botach Botched up my order

"Botach worst first time purchase. To start off Botach sent me the wrong magazines I orders. I orders CA. 10rd 45ACP was sent 15rd 40 cal and freaked out because this shouldn't be here in Ca. So I called them and request they send me a return label and please send out the right ones.
So I called them the next day and ask could you at least send them 2nd day air or discount them or Something for my hassle and have to wait for shipping all over again. They said no me we don't do the. "Rep __anya". Won't put out the full name. So I wait for them to get the wrong magazines back. They received them on the 4th and I then I wait for them to ship the correct ones out again. So when I receive my package on the 13th I get 2 magazine not factory packed and loose in a Fedex bag. Looked used and looks like someone grabbed there old mags when they bought their gun and shipped them to me. Glock sends these along with the gun when you order it. So here is my email back to Botach. Tell me what you all think I should do now>?

Hello all, really disappointed in the service I have received. Not only did I have to wait a long time to get the magazines I ordered but they are not factory packages and look used.
How would you feel as a customer. Then when you ask for a break on the product or to Ship 2nd day air the answer is no we don’t do that. This was not the only thing I ordered on this I also order a Holosun Green dot sight in which I am very happy with. So I am confused on what to do now. Tell me what you would do as a customer? Does any managers see this?

Very Disappointed for my first purchase.
