"I purchased the Lenovo x61 Tablet from Bottom Line Telecommunications (BLT) on July 29th knowing that the product was on backorder and not expected to be shipped until around August 6th. A few days following my order, the ETA on the product changed from August 6th to August 13th. This was concerning because I am heading to college and needed the notebook before the 13th. I quickly contacted BLT with my concern. I left a phone message for the company, and at 9pm that night (after they had closed) they called me back but I could not answer. So, instead of waiting until the next day to contact me, BLT sent me one of the funniest and most helpful emails I have ever seen from a company. It stated they would do everything they could to get me the computer before college. Well, they did just that. Today I received confirmation that my Lenovo x61 tablet had been shipped. Today's date: August 3rd. Thank You BLT for World Class Service! For the record I have not yet received the notebook, but I'm sure it will come later today, as Fedex posted it's status as "shipped."

Both times, I ordered a product that was a Pro-Order item, and both times I received prompt communication regarding the status of when the item would be released and when it would be shipped. Unfortunately the most recent item I ordered has had its availability delayed a couple of times. I searched and searched and have found that every online retailer except amazon.com is showing the item still on back-order. If I were not so anxious to get the item I would have not cancelled my most recent order and order with Amazon (who must have may a huge order to limit the stock for everyone else).
