"I do not like when I pick my child up and they are watching TV. They need to be doing activities and not watching TV."
"Great environment. I am the grandmother, and don't interact with the school on a daily basis. I am very satisfied with the staff and management of the school. When I call the staff is polite and professional always willing to explain whatever question I have, in detail. The only caveat I would like to add is for the school to add the daily / weekly / or monthly curriculum or lesson plan is being taught so it can be reiterated at home when the child is not in school. Not only is the location convenient but its helpful that the school provides nutritional meals during the day."
"Lack of care and cleaning and poor learning"
"My older started at CCY Harris Branch in 2017, and my younger is still there full time. Even now in 1st G, my older still does holiday/break camps there, and my younger is thriving. There's a core group of teachers that has been there, not only for our time as a CCY family, but literally for decades. My two are 5 years apart, and already my younger has had some of the same teachers as my older. I know I can go to teachers or the office with any questions or concerns, and I always feel heard and that my kids are known to these adults. This place truly feels like a second home to my children, and I'm already tearing up at the thought of my younger graduating in a few years!"
"Staff is great and the director is amazing."
"My experience has been great. There is an amazing sense of community and care here. Everyone seems to be on the same page."
"Overall great. The office staff , Ms Marissa Ms Tanya and there is another lady ( her name slipped my mind) are wonderful. They have great communication. You can tell that they really have the compassion for working with children. I have babies from 6 weeks to 4 years old and each teacher from the infant to Pre-K room are patient, loving and educational. It’s such a welcoming family oriented center. what makes it better is the diversity and willingness to work with you with such understanding. But most importantly they never make you seem like you or your child is a hassle. I couldn’t have picked a better center for my kids."
"We love CCY-Harris Branch! Ms. Marissa (the current director) was my 6yo's infant teacher, and was the director for his preK graduation! We wouldn't send our daughter anywhere else, we know them and they know us so well."
"The teachers, miss Tina and Miss Alaysia have seemed like family and retained our enrollment."
"I love it! My child loves it! The Teacher/Staff are fantastic! It's a great place with awesome people!"
"I like the school a lot. I have concerns about the building security. I have complaints about the school shutting down randomly such as internet going out or electricity going out that causes parents to mandatory pick up asap. Shouldn't those things have well established backups by now?"
"Everyone is kind and listens to my concerns. I fee comfort when I drop my son off."
"I would like to encourage more events with the parents where they can meet and schedule playdates or activities outside of the daycare. That is how a community is built."
"The afternoon teachers are great, but everyone in the morning at drop off is very cold especially the front desk staff. When we drop her off in the morning they often leave her in the hallway in her car seat for an unknown amount of time stating they don’t have the staff to care for her. They refuse to do more than 15 minutes of tummy time when at her age she should be doing 40-50 minutes according to her pediatrician and other reputable sources. They go hours over her required feed time. We have requested she have naps kept to less than 2 hours each and they let her sleep hours over that time. She has come home with **** dried on her that was obviously from a previous diaper change that was not fully cleaned off. They refused to give my husband/her father access to the camera and messaging system. We were never notified of the price increase. When notified of these issues they were unconcerned and refused to make changes. Her well-being did not seem like a priority to anyone."
"We enrolled our boy to this School principally because of childcare. But we are disappointed on how the class transition is handled, we aren't receiving our son's videos as promised by the school and we feel like our concerns aren't taking into account."
