"Love the staff! I was worried to leave my kids at any daycare. However after meeting the staff I decided try out this location. The teachers and directors have really gone over and beyond to transition my kids to full time childcare. If any concerns come up they address it immediatly. As an over protective mother I can say I am truly pleased with The Children’s Courtyard. "
"When my children were enrolled Mary was the director and I felt my children were in a great environment to learn & feel safe. Since Melissa has been brought on there have been nothing but issues. The school no longer has a welcoming feel, I do not feel there is consistency overall & the parents are not informed as much as before. Melissa not only ignores what I express, she doesn't even pretend to truly care when I have questions or concerns. If it weren't for the lead teacher in the classroom I would have already removed my children. As long as I strictly deal with the lead teacher and avoid interactions with the director I feel more at ease. This is not how our childcare experience should be. Unfortunately contacting those above Melissa does not help either so I have given up on any hopes that the director situation can be improved."
"Wonderful friendly staff! Always greeted with a warm smile. Anytime I need to speak with Ms. Melissa she makes time to speak with me. I never feel like I’m a bother. My situation is not the “norm” and all staff members have been wonderful with extended warmth, compassion, and complete understanding, going above and beyond in every way. Ms. Hope is absolutely amazing along with Mr. Tim! (Two teachers my kiddos have had). I must add that I love it smells so clean!"
"It has been a great overall experience."
"In the time we have been with the school, we have had positive experiences. There was a time where a lot of teacher turnover in the preshool programs (age 4) and that caused some issues for my child as the teachers kept changing. however, the director was able to work with him and help change the issues. We have been pleased with our time and our children have enjoyed it."
"Satisfactory. We love Ms. Kim!"
"So far we love this school! Miss Mishelle is sooooo wonderful with our son. She really makes him feel comfortable and welcome everyday! She updates us on his activities and progress through out the day! Melissa is always prompt with making adjustments to scheduling and responding to concerns! A+ from us!"
"Goes above and beyond my expectations and couldn’t so for a more caring staff and teachers!! We love this place and everything about it!!"
"Here is an odd issue not addressed by the survey questions. Teachers continually park next to me while I am trying to unload my kids from the truck. This makes it much more difficult to remove children from car seats and is generally just an unnecessary complication in the morning. There are plenty of parking spaces on the edges of the parking lot for staff to occupy, yet they insist on pulling up right next to my truck. Staff should park in the back of the lot. There is no reason for additional moving vehicles to be up front next to the exiting kids. None."
"Overall been very pleased. Learning preparation has been great as my son has shown improvement and even above average in many areas. You feel like part of a family when you come there and that helps in continuing to come."
"Management tells us they will handle problems then do nothing to actually fix them. I’m also concerned with the amount of free play vs structured lessons in preschool. My child seems to be learning very little."
"I do really like the staff but, the turnover makes it so hard to feel comfortable. It's very concerning."
"I have become less and less satisfied with the Children’s Courtyard as the school year has gone by. If it was not so close to summer, I would have moved my child to another school. My concerns are class size, lack of academics, and staff turn over."
"We love the family atmosphere and that the curriculum is very play-based. The kids are able to do a variety of activities throughout the day and develop strong friendships. We would encourage the staff to do more face to face conversations when changes take place. Teacher changes are hard on the students and want to make sure we can all have a conversation about how it impacts our children."
"Very impressed and in the top 3 of our choices. Due to pricing, considering a 3 days a week option instead of the full 5 we were originally considering."
