"I have hassled with Medicare and their selected CPAP supplier for over a year. My old CPAP needed replacement and my local medical provider told myself and my doctor what type and model of CPAP I would be supplied with after I got a new sleep study as per their policy.
I looked on line and found CPAP.com. I found their web site to be helpful and easy to understand. I was able to choose the machine that would suit me and my needs. I used the same prescription that medicare refused to honor. I called CPAP.com's help line where a knowledgeable staff member was extreamly helpful. He verified that my prescription included the pressure setting and we were good to go. CPAP.com quickly mailed my machine with the correct pressure setting preset. Packing was very good and everything arrived safely.

"My local choices for CPAP is limited to three providers. one said they do not stock CPAP any longer, one said they had to order a machine and it would be 3 to 4 weeks. The other one said they have the machine and insurance would pay 80% on the machine but they would not make a claim on the tube and mask because they could not make money. They were very reluctant to try a claim on my insurance and waited 4 weeks to decide if insurance would pay for the machine. I asked the cash price , they said $895. I got the same machine at CPAP.com for $455. Sent them my Rx and got a CPAP in 3 to 4 days. "
