After reading reviews and doing some additional investigation, I decided to go with CPU Medics. To be honest, I was a little leery to place an order because of the lack of reviews and an overall lack of information that I found about the company. However, I needed the part and decided to take my chances. On 12/7, I ordered my part and received my online confirmation. After that, I didn't receive any additional emails. So today (12/11), I called their main number to check on the status of my order. My call was answered promptly by Adam who took my order number and immediately checked for status. He informed me that the package shows it was delivered 12/10 @ 1PM. I called the place where I had the package delivered and they informed me that the package was received. I am very happy with this transaction. I got what I ordered for a fair price and the shipping was fast. I would definitely recommend CPU Medics and I will definitely use them again if I need another computer part! For those that have posted stating that they were sent a different part number than they ordered, read the verbiage when checking out. It clearly states that if you need an exact part number, you must state this in the comments. Otherwise, they reserve the right to send out a different part number, as long as the part sent works like the ordered part. This isn't a shady business practice, it is like buying OEM and generic car parts. The part number wasn't switched without warning. Chances are that the buyer didn't carefully read the provided information at checkout. "

"I recently needed a USB3 pci card for my win7 computer. After checking I found CPUmedics,com site. They had 4-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI-Express Controller Card. The price was good so I ordered it. Got it installed then found the supplied drivers did not work. After days of searching I contacted CPUmedics about the problem. Adam replied quickly. We went back and forth for a couple of days with no success. He even sent new drivers and they didn't work. Next he sent me the link to the manufacturer. I went to the site and downloaded the drivers and now the card is working fine. The speed increase is mind blowing. Using USB2 and Acronis a backup onto a 4TB drive was 17 DAYS. On the USB3 using the same software it took two and a half hours.
I was on the verge of sending the USB3 card back for a refund. It was Adam and his help which prompts me to write this short review. Even if the card had not worked I would deal with CPUmedics because of the service.
