The power supply in a mini-tower desktop PC that I use as my primary email connection device fizzled out, literally in a puff of smoke.

"Hey - Service & Shipping were great on a replacement power supply for HP 5188-2755. Everything arrived in great timing, however the fit was not perfect - screw holes did not line up perfectly, but I was able to get it to work. There were way too many wires in the harness for my application, and therefore appeared to be a universal application. After less than 3 weeks of use, the new power supply fried (Stink, Smoke, Sparks) and I have just submitted for an RMA to get a Refund - My only hope is that they are as good with refunds as they are with getting the product out!"

This cost $10 more than the generic replacement but I was willing to pay extra to get an exact replacement. When the shipment arrived I opened it to find they had substituted a Logisys PS550X2 power supply in place of the exact replacement. I looked online to find you can purchase the Logisys PS550X2 for $19.99. "
