"Overall, our interaction with Ms. Ayanna is the sole reason we have decided to stay with the school after issues we have experienced. When she is there we feel our child is very safe, well taken care of, and fostered to further his communciation and social skills. However, there have been moments while she was on vacation where issues have occurred regarding him coming home with his pull up on from nap time and soaken through. When he was having issues with another child in the classroom, she was the first staff member to show genuine concern and validate our feelings and fears. Since being with her for almost a year our child has truly grown and prospered."
"The value is incredibly teacher-dependent. When Ms. Hanan our daughter’s teacher, our daughter loved school and would come home telling us all about how much fun she had. It was clear to us that Ms. Hanan cared about our child and her development. When our daughter moved to a class with older children, this changed completely. Our daughter’s new teacher doesn’t engage with her enthusiastically and her classroom-driven development has been stunted. When we brought this issue up, we were given a blank look and an “okay.” There was no attempt made to rectify any issue we had. We were unsatisfied l, so we withdrew our child from the school. I’m sure many kids enjoy this school and it is worth keeping them there, but our child didn’t and the school leadership wasn’t interested in addressing this issue with us."
"For the most part, I have loved our experience. My son has learned so much and came out of his shell. There have been issues in the past and new ones that have recently developed. I think if there was more consistency of communication and a steadily scheduled teacher then I’d have better things to say about our experience."
"Our family loves this Childtime. The teachers we have encountered are all very caring and nurturing. It is extremely obvious they have the best interest of our child in mind. The activities they do with even the smallest of children are more than we had ever expected. It’s a terrific feeling to see our son excited as soon as we walk in the door. We have also developed a positive relationship with each of our sons caregivers as he moves up in his classes. Additionally, the camera and Brightwheel app have been a great bonus in viewing our son at anytime and communicating with the Childtime staff."
"Was not happy with school. They do not help children develop into social, responsible, and smart humans instead they 'babysit' the children and blame the children for nearly everything. they do not teach the children at all. Loved the director but he cannot 'make' his teachers gain a passion for inspiring young children."
"We really enjoyed and saw tremendous social growth in our child while in the preschool class with Ms. Hanan. She was warm and inviting and pushed our child out of her comfort zone to help improve her interactions with other children while including"
"Great results for new parents. They were fast responsive and opened up the door to our Aiden within 24 hours of relocating to Michigan!!"
"This school has been the best thing we could have asked for, especially with the recent edition of Ms. Ayanna. She has been able to drastically enhance the growth of our child and preparing him for kindergarten."
"Our experience is primarily with Ms. Bonita the Montessori Instructor. She is EXCELLENT. I do think that since the change in Director from last March'18, there has been a big improvement. I noticed there are qualified teachers in the other classes now. All of the 10/high rated answers relate to Ms. Bonita. She is a model instructor. Thank you for offering this to our daughter."
"We are so happy here. My child is well taken care of and I feel that the teachers treat her like I do. I appreciate everything!"
"Overall the center has turned into an expensive babysitting facility. No real educational value is provided."
"Since Brooke has become the director, the communication from the facility has been amazing. I know my child is having a good time at school and I know she is making friends which could possibly be lifelong. She is constantly learning and developing and I know the teachers at ChildTime are excelerating the rate of her development."
"I have had a positive experience with the school overall. As mentioned above the only two things I would modify or improve is modifying payment at least to 50% when the child is out for the week. Secondly, I would have a contingency plan in place for the children who may not celebrate certain holidays ensuring not to isolate or exclude children by providing a non-holiday curriculum that is suitable for all students."
"I have had 2 children enrolled in the past. Teachers are very caring and absolutely love the kids but turnover is high. I also did not care for the transitions between rooms as I felt kids were moved from room to room based upon how many were there that day and what age. Not sure if there is any organization or structure to the school age program."
"In general we love school. With all of the transition in the past few months there has been a lot of inconsistancies. I rated the teachers who are with him most often. There are some where the communication is lacking. I dont know because I was there, is sometimes the response. There are days the app is not updated accurately and that can be frustrating. We are hoping that stability is coming."
