"School teachers and leaders at Newbys Bridge location are very good and very easy to work with. They build relationships with the children and work with and undersand them well. The nasty emails received by Childtime management stating payment is past due when all payment was made on time each Sunday needs to change. When Childtime management adds $3 in the middle of the week or adds a processing fee in the middle of the week and gives ZERO notice of the addition, and then sends emails stating past due is an unprofessional process. The parents should receive notice of the addition and given until the following Sunday or Monday to make the adjustment. Some professionalism in this area would encourage some parents to recommend Childtime more often to others"
"The teachers are wonderful! We have had a very positive experience so far this year."
"Great teachers just have the biting incidents that hopefully won’t happen again"
"I would have to say my experience has been poor with this daycare."
"The director and her direct staff are AMAZING. The attrition in the classroom leads to inexperienced teachers and lack of consist"
"It's been OK. I would provide a better rating but I believe the staff turnover and student ratio did impact my feelings towards this school. I hope it gets better."
"Love the staff! All are so kind and caring to me and my child. Ms. Angie is amazing! Leah is fantastic!"
"We love it here. Very responsive to questions and needs, and my child feels very loved and supported."
"We have had a great experience in the toddler room. She has learned so much and enjoys going to school. She gets to do a wide variety of activities including going outside on a daily basis. I feel like she is safe there especially since I can check in on her via the camera."
"Very positive. It's obvious that my child is learning and developing on a day to day basis, and she is always excited to go to school in the mornings."
"We have had an excellent experience with the school overall, barring anything outside of the schools' control (illness, etc.) ."
"overall we have lined most of the teachers and my child enjoys them and his friends. my main concern has been the verbal abuse issue I mentioned before, and sometimes the other kids can be pretty rough, but I suspect I'd find that anywhere."
"The teachers are professional and caring for the most part, but some of them are not and are rude to the children. I would also like to be acknowledged when I pick my child up from after care."
"My boyfriend's daughter went to this daycare and it was dirty, staff is different weekly and very slim. They take absolutely no accountability and are completely unorganized and rude. Their bathrooms are full of dirt and bugs, they have a small gate surrounding the play area that can easily be climbed over and dangerously easy for predators to watch kids, or worse. Especially with the VERY slim staff. Many mornings there are 20+ kids to one teacher, and the office staff is rude and condescending any time a concern is brought up. If you watch the "muted" cameras provided you will find endless disturbing incidents that involve the teachers. He has called on behalf of other kids, as well as his own, because teachers were taking kids to the corner of the room (out of camera view), then the kids would leave out crying their eyes out with red faces. The last draw for my boyfriend was when a teacher grabbed his daughter by the arm (hard enough we were concerned about whiplash) and holding her head down on the cot to "go to sleep". When this was reported, they temporarily took the teacher out of the class and said they will "investigate the allegation", but no incident was reported. When he went up there to DISCUSS with the manager on duty, the teacher bursted open the door, yelling at him. The following day, her husband stopped in front of our car and approached him with hands in his pockets to confront him about his wife. He reported this incident to the office as well, as it was completely unprofessional. By the end of the week, they sent a email advising him that his daughter had immediately been dis-enrolled due to HIS behavior?!! WHAT???!!! Apparently another teacher and parent said he had used profanity. Talk about a FALSE ALLEGATION. Luckily, we were already in the process of finding a new daycare. The kicker to all of this is, when he called to DISCUSS the email, he told them he would gladly be up there to pick up his daughters backpack and belongings, and they said he was not allowed on the premises, and they would mail them. Today, we received her items and they had thrown pants covered in pee and MOLD in her backpack!!! We threw it away. From the bottom of my heart, please listen to me when I say STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! You will do better ANYWHERE ELSE!! God bless. "
"Overall, very positive! Staffing issues has been the most difficult part of this whole experience."
