"Ordered a Canon 7d from them. Got the expected call to confirm, tried to sell me other stuff some of which I bought after renegotiating the price. On the web site availability "ships in 1 or 2 days" no they tell me back ordered won't be in for 3 weeks.
I will not buy from them again, can't believe anything they tell you. The first time i called them customer service said they would ship on Fri. the 27th. Now they tell me 3 weeks maybe.
12/1/09 Got a call from Brian from C/S stating that a shipment came in from Canon Monday night and my camera would be shipped Tue, he upgraded my shipment to overnight and sent me the UPS tracking number. That C/S in my mind was VERY good and for that reason I would buy from them again"

"Hello, I placed an order with camera kings on Nov 18th. They promised me that the shipping will arrive in 7 to 10 days. But I have not received it yet.
Nov 18th - placed the order
Nov 19th-Got confirmation e-mail and the status was "ready to ship". credit card was charged
Nov 21st-the status changed to "available soon"
Nov 22nd- called customer care. they said shipping the order that day
Nov 23rd- again called customer care as I have not received the tracking number. They said shipping the order that day
Nov 24th-send e-mail inquiring about the order status
Nov 28th (today) -no information available
I am leaving on a vacation on 2nd and I am very much worried about my order. I should get the order by dec 2nd. Otherwise I don't have an option but to take some legal action.
Why camerakings is accepting the order if the item is not in stock? This is a kind of cheating.The credit card was charged on Nov 18th and as a consumer I am afraid that this is a fraud company!!! :(

Nov 4, 2009 - I called asking if the HV40 was in stock. I was told yes. I asked why my camera hadn't shipped yet. Was told there were 50 on order. I asked why I was lied to when I asked if they were in stock. Got the run around.
Nov 6, 2009 - shipping update requested after 2-1/2 weeks
Nov 9, 2009 - response due in today should ship tomorrow
Nov 13, 2009 - shipping update requested after 3-1/2 weeks
as of today - no response
It is now 26 days since I placed my order and I'm still waiting. A little honesty about my order would have made me a repeat future customer. Instead I'm just struggling to get the one thing I've ordered.
11/16 Update: Brian Gordan - Customer Service Manager contacted me after I posted this review. He stated the delay in receiving my camera was due to delays receiving the shipment(s) from Canon (why couldn't someone tell me this to begin with?). He stated that my camera would be shipping today and offered an extended warranty and promotional kit for my troubles.
11/18 - Camera received. Thanks to Brian for his attention to this order."

I decided to purchase a Denon AVR-2310CI A/V amp. I am glad I did. Only bumps in the road were no notification of shipping information and packing material. "This is the worst internet shopping experience I have ever had. Website said product in stock - it wasn't; charged credit card and I tried to get shipping information for 2 weeks with no success. Cancelled order; they could have cared less. They supposedly processed a credit but I will be surprised if I dont't have to contact the credit card company about the refund.
