Rental was easy - the lens came well packed (UV filter, lense case, well padded inside the box), with return label and thorough instructions, and most importantly - on time!
My vacation memories wouldn't be as good should I not rented this lens
Return was quite easy - just re-pack and drop-off at a manned FedEx location (instructions advised not to use un-manned drop-off boxes as it would not guarantee timely return)
