" I have monarch pants in a different size not the same pants, I took photos and contacted the company they said take photo of label well it said what it was suppose to. I had gone ahead and ordered a pair of these same pants from 6pm right after this happened (because this happened) and guess what I got what I ordered. these are not the pants in the photo!!!! bought 2 pairs i spent over 100.00 and i didn't get what I ordered and i guess I'm just out. "After my experience with CampSaver, I am inclined to think any positive reviews they have received were written by their own staff. The large number of 1-star ratings speak for themselves. This is the very worst company I have ever done business with and the review which indicates return shipping was paid for by CampSaver is in direct contrast from my own experience. The manager at Customer Service was incredibly rude and immature over a simple issue that could have been resolved so easily and would have been at any of CampSavers competitors--and there are so many excellent competitors. I am not at all surprised to find so many 1-star reviews from other well-intentioned costomers. This shopping experience was an absolute assault to common sense and courtesy. EDIT: Now they have informed me that my returned item (new and unworn) will take a full 10 days to be refunded to my credit card because they have a large backlog of returned items.

"It appears Camp Saver is selling B quality defective shoes as new. I ordered 2 pairs of the same shoes and both had the same defect with the left show only. Probably from the same bad lot. I had to pay to return the shoes. Don't waste your time or money here."
"Fantastic return policy. I called and spoke with a person right away, no machine and no hold.
The representative I spoke with said they would happily accept a return for pants that didn't fit properly. He sent a prepaid shipping label for the exchange and was very personable.

"The future of business is speed and service. McD's knew this in the 1950's. Campsaver knows this, they advertise same day shipping on their website, they just don't back it up. I ordered a Granite Gear White Lightnin' Tarp on Monday after the "Same Day" time period. I expected my tarp to be shipped the next day, Tuesday and checked my email several times with no results. Wednesday at 10:30am PST (11:30am Campsaver time) I received an email from them saying they needed me to confirm my payment by way of 3 options. Option 1 I pay them with paypal instead of my debit card (mind you they have already charged my card.) Option 2 to get a 6 digit number from my bank (the option I attempted twice.) Option 3 was to wait another "2-5 business days" for "a refund on your credit card that we need you to verify." As I was hoping to get this tarp in time for a trip 2 weeks from the date ordered (well within the 5-10 day free shipping estimate) I chose to expedite the process by attempting "Option 2 - Every credit card transaction has an authorizaiton code/approval code, you can give us the credit card approval code. This is a six digit number, that could contain letters, you can get from your bank." Well guess what, I bank with Bank of America (you know, one of the largest banks in the US) and they had no idea what 6 digit approval they were talking about. I wait on hold twice with 2 different people while they asked supervisors and everyone around them. I also waited on hold with Campsaver at least 3 times and my call was dropped (or possibly hung up) twice. I spoke with "Brayden" (guessing on spelling) twice to no avail, he then told me that he would contact the bank and would get right back to me, even double checking my phone number with me. The afternoon goes by with no word and finally 10 minutes before they close I went ahead and called them back. I get a hold of "Brayden" and he says "Did you get the number from the bank?" Well that was it for me I got a refund (he said that may be 2-5 days as well.) Luckily the refund went through this morning & I did what I should have done in the first place, Spent $10 more and ordered it from REI."
"Cheapest prices and top notch customer service. Free shipping and they paid returned return shipping on one of the items I had ordered the wrong size with a prompt refund. Most of the time they were the cheapest prices I could find but if not, it is worth it to buy from them just because you know they run an honest business and give you no hassles. No lie, it was the most hassle-free return I have ever made in my life. They paid they sent me the return shipping for my mistake. I will buy from them in the future for everything I need that they carry!"
"Worst company ever to deal with. They charge your credit card right away for your order including for items they do not even have in stock and then take forever to ship out your order. It has been almost a week and my order has yet to ship nor have I received any communication at all from campsaver. If you want your gear to be shipped out within a reasonable amount of time, order elsewhere. Absolutely terrible customer service."
"I was in the market for Evolv Geshido climbing shoes, which are being discontinued. I have a pair that are worn and need to get them resoled. I climb at a gym 3-4 times a week, and I didn't want any downtime so I decided to purchase another pair of shoes from them. The price was the lowest I could find.
However, I was nervous about purchasing from Camp Saver due to some of the complaints of slow shipping and wrong sizes. Before my order, I emailed them asking them if the specific climbing shoe I had was in stock, if they verified the size, and if they would cover return shipping if they made a mistake. The answer I got about the size issue was a mistake made by manufacturer packaging.
I ordered the shoes on a Sunday, they shipped it the next day, and it was at my doorstep on Thursday (I'm located in Washington State). Shipping was fast, the shoes were well packaged, and exactly as described. I would recommend them again and was happy with the experience. They have live chat available too, which is great for quick questions."
"terrible customer service, stupid policies. If you order on a friday, you wait for them to start processing your order until monday. if you have used a debit card, they return a little amount of money (a few cents) to your card, per them that it is confirmed that it is your card. You wait at least a 4-5 days this to happen. Then free shipping takes 5-10 days. So you got your item finally? If you had to return because the size was not right etc, free return shipping which is good is available. I read on somewhere on their website that the return item should be sent back wrapped in a cartoon although it arrived in a nylon bag. I bought a box from ups and sent the item back. although they received it on a monday early in the morning, processing has not started till when I called them on tuesday in the afternoon. The customer service representative told me that they were extremely busy because of the holidays. Because of all these I decided to cancel the order instead of exchanging. In the beginning they refunded the price for the box, then during the refund of the total amount of the item, they got it back. So I had nothing in hand but loss of my money. I bought the same item couple of weeks later from another online store 50 USD cheaper. "

I was happy to see they shipped order relatively quick through USPS,which might lead me to give them a 5 stars but drama just began. I ordered a dark kahi color bug-repellent shirt for my weekend deep wood hiking and it turned out to be a parchment color. So disappointed by their mistake I called them up ask for a quick replacement but they preferred I ship it back before mailed me the right one, which would miss my weekend travel day. I wish they could manage better their shipment control. Fortunately the customer service was helpful to negotiate a deal so that I can keep the wrong color shirt and save their two shipments cost. "
