"Ordered several hundred dollars of pc parts, items never showed up and Canada Computers couldnt care less or even be bothered to respond to an email or answer a phone."
"I had the worst customer service experience ever when buying a monitor that I need for my work.
I purchased a 24 inch Samsung monitor, took it home, connected it and it worked for half hour and then a bunch of lines appeared on the screen and it froze. I took it back immediately (within 1 week of purchase) and they told me that it was damaged and could not be returned and there was nothing they could do. They were not willing to return the item and it was clear they thought it was damaged by me. I went back home and contacted Samsung and requested a warranty claim and sent it back to Samsung. Within 10 days, Samsung returned the monitor and they changed the LCD panel. That’s the last thing I buy from them.

"I ordered a Gigabyte Geforce 5600XT video card for around $400. Shipping was delayed by about 2.5 weeks but I finally received it. The card proceeded to not work and I had it tested at Memory Express (who I should have bought it from in the first place in hindsight) and they confirmed it was a dud. I filed a return ticket and have not heard back. It's been an entire week. I have spent over 6 hours on their customer service line to no avail. I don't think they have anyone even answering the phones. There is no voice mail whatsoever and they haven't responded to direct emails. I am currently in the RMA process with Gigabyte because I have given up hope that CC will ever get back to me.
Covid is not an excuse. Other companies (Memory Express) are functioning just fine right now. Give CC a very wide berth. "
"I order part they have in stock. They confirmed the payment automatically and take my cash. After two week the order is not ship yet. They don't answer the phone and the email is incoherent to what I ask because is a automatic message."
"I wish I could give 0 stars for this Canada Computers. I called in beforehand to make sure I could price match a pair of headphones with an electronic flyer and they said they could; their website also said that they take electronic and distributed flyers. Once I arrived, I was told that they could not honor the price because they could not find the item on the website, when I showed them the flyer. They ended up charging me $90.00 for a pair of headphones. I was furious and went back the next day. I tried to get my price match honored and the cashier that was helping me said they couldn't honor my price because "we don't accept flyers like that". I went ahead and asked to speak to their manager. He did not bother coming out to talk with me and the cashier was just being sent back to deliver the message from the manager. The cashier came back and told me that they JUST updated their website saying that they couldn't honor the price matching due to the pandemic. However, I thought it was highly unprofessional that they falsely advertised that I could price match. I did my research on whether I could price match and nothing about the pandemic was mentioned. I cannot believe a manager would even stoop down so low just to get an extra $30 by adding information to their website. I will not be returning to this store, and I will be reporting and complaining about this incident. Also beware: They do not answer their phones and Canada Computer's Costumer Service is horrible (do not respond to email and hung up on me numerous times)."
"Won’t reply on tickets n emails. 6 phone calls of an hour long to get hung up on at hour mark"
"Given the chance, I would have given them negative stars. This has been the worst ever customer service experience for me. I am now waiting at week 3 after my order was made for the update on shipment....let alone the product...!!! I tried calling them, emailing them, send msg through their website and not a single response. I don't know how are they still doing business in a country like Canada...!!!"
"I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
They're scammers.
Product is claimed to be in stock on their website.
You'll receive an email claiming the item is 'back-ordered' and will be shipped whenever it's in stock.
They won't reply to your emails, ever after 2 weeks.
You can't contact them any other way.
If you find yourself stuck in the same situation;
- Email them to confirm you are cancelling your order IMMEDIATELY.
- Contact your credit card company and CHARGE BACK.
- Post a 1 star review and ensure they go bankrupt.
They should be sued to oblivion."
"Unfair policy return. I tried to return the opened box. I am currently not satisfied with using the product. "
"I bought a laptop online, and since my order is delayed in shipping, I went to his store in Mississauga twice to ask for information, The first time there was a man outside who rudely removed people if we weren't going to pick something up. So I left. Then return to request information Since in the head office they do not answer the phone, and then an employee called the Manager for him to give me an answer But the Manager was the same rude man I had seen previously, I asked him about my order and he was very rude and sarcastic to give the information. Anyway I bought from May 5 and nobody. I have only received the grotesque and sarcastic response from the Mississauga Manager. . I have only received the grotesque and sarcastic response "
"I ordered my parts online on May 3rd and they finally arrived on the 19th. The only reason I ordered from CC was for the decent sales and stock compared to other resellers.
After 3 days, my order was still being processed so I contacted their support via e-mail. Their phone support and live chat is MIA so don't bother with that. I received e-mail responses as early as the same day, or as late as 3 days later. Your mileage may vary. I was told that my order was delayed due to lack of stock, at the time of ordering all the items were marked as in stock on the website, expect some inaccuracies on stock levels. At one point I was fed up so I called into one of their actual stores, and the employee told me online orders were taking about 2 weeks to be fulfilled because of current world events, which was quite accurate.
All my parts work as intended, everything was packed nice and snug inside the box with a lot of bubble wrap, nothing was DOA. Overall, my experience with CC was not as bad as other reviewers have described. I would buy from CC again, but I'd recommend going in person instead.
TLDR:
-Their communication is terrible.
-Stock on website is inaccurate.
-Prices are good.
-You will get your product, just be patient."
"Doesn't answer phone calls, emails, can't let a message on the voicemail. Can't ship some pieces because of their politics while we were all in quarantine. "
"Not sure what all the neg reviews are about. I had a great experience. I called the store in toronto after ordering because reviews worried me, and they were super re assuring and helpful. Ill shop here again. "
"After 3 weeks finally got my pc. Does not working!! Great!! I just paid $1000 for a piece of crap."
"I ordered 3 computer parts from them and they never shipped out my items till a whole month. They never answered my calls and emails. They have the worst customer service. Slow, lazy workers on their end. I asked for a refund halfway through and they told It will take 1-2 business days to get confirmed and about 5-7 business days to actually get your money back. All my other orders from amazon have already came in. And took me two whole months just waiting on parts. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM OR GO IN-STORE. **** THESE LAZY ****."
