"Does Canada Computers and Electronics offers a customer service of your purchase, YES THEY DO AND THEY WILL STALL YOU WHATEVER IT TAKES TO PROVENT GIVE YOU SERVICE! WHOA!
Honestly, I contacted them regarding one order for many times and meet many different customer service people from their department. 100% to be honest, they do have a few great people who at least sound to care about your problem. (A mid-age lady, and A-college-aged-girl) Rest of the people (most are males) are rude and DEADLY RUDE... Well, I don't mean they are rude by saying ****... none of them say ****, but they are RUDE because they do whatever it takes to STALL YOU it's not their problem of why you received a DOA item.
In my case, they blame Purolator and been contacting Purolator for more than 40 Days+ to figure out if my DOA was caused by the Purolator. No refund, no replacement, NO ANY SOLUTION TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMER.
It's a $100 CAD damage to me, and not a big deal however I will follow-up to death and record everything to death and see how long can they hold up.
Since I also had **** experience with NCIX and Mike's Computers..... Memory Express has no customer service either.
The only two Computer Parts provider I can trust with my heart is only
NEWEGG.CA and AMAZON.CA "
"in short.. gave me a 300 dollar bill with ZERO SOLUTIONS! Several staff members were really rude.."
"I bought a laptop that went on sale the next day. The customer support rep promised me a refund for the amount of sale, but it's been 2 weeks and no word from them.
I sent multiple emails, which went unanswered."
"Was looking for a 1080 ti before stock disappeared everywhere. Most retailers and 3rd party sellers on amazon etc are selling these for significantly more than MSRP. Was surprised when I looked on Canada Computers website and saw they had 4 EVGA Black Editions in stock at original MSRP pricing. I bought instantly on Tuesday night, order sat in processing for a few days, but I kept checking the stock on the website and it said they had 3 until the following Saturday. Fast forward a couple days to Monday, 6 days after I had ordered and they email me to tell me they can't fulfill my order and that they had cancelled it. I email back asking what the deal was as the website had shown stock several days after I had ordered and they tell me that the system was slow to update and someone probably bought it while I was checking out. I mentioned that was BS, as the website stock updated instantly when I checked out, and showed the rest of the stock for several days. Their follow up reply was that they had sent my issue to the website team, who I obviously haven't heard from since. I think they either realized they could sell these for inflated prices and cancelled my order, or employees grabbed them all to sell on Ebay. Either way, I won't be shopping with Canada Computers ever again."
"Their site has a bundle offer for free games with purchase of certain graphics cards such as the rx570 8gb oc . Says you order card/bundle once ordered your supposed to email their team with invoice number to receive code for the games (doesn't even say how to use the code). Well I ordered the correct card sent in my invoice number and nothing no response....I've emailed back multiple times still nothing... it's been a few days still nothing. ..... I'm going to call tomorrow and either get my games or the poor person on the other end is gonna get an earful"
"Canada Computers is the most unreliable company ever. I keep having problem after problem with this company and i'm just trying to get away from them but problems keep occuring.
I had an order for over 1000$ that said was in stock online and then was out on back order the day after I ordered. Let alone the major inconvenience this caused me I had to cancel my order, this was no easy task. after calling and emailing a multitude of times I finally got my order cancelled after about two weeks of trying to reach out to these guys.
Now after finally getting my order cancelled I havent recieved my refund for $1000 in over a week. This company is an absolute joke and I will never give them service again after this experience. Please don't make the same mistake I have made and trust this company with handling your overpriced electronics.
It is honestly an offense they call themselves "Canada Computers" because they do not represent anything Canadians would want in an electronics store. I normally would never take the time to write a bad review on a company but this was just too much and I felt I could help a few others from making the mistake I made."
"Worst service I ever had in Canada. Don’t recommend!"
"no one answer to you at all, get no refund for a cancel of an order"
"I bought a graphics card for them and it died in 4 months! it was probably an open box but they sold it as brand new. either way i have NEVER had a graphics card from amd fail in 4 months i have a 12 year old card im currently using. so i would deffinitley avoid canada computers because they only have a 14 day money back guarentee. they want to get your money and get out as fast as possable without providing customer service. it was a sapphire brand graphics card. and now im dealing with them through email and they have there initial email set up that you contacted to make it so when you reply they dont even recieve your email! so you have to read the very fine detail of sapphires automated detail and it says for further help contact __________ so and so email. so again they try to make you give up from frusteration and when you do get ahold of sapphire they take days to get back to you. its pretty crappy so just an fyi you should pick different companies than these 2"
"Really BAD customer service! I placed an order online a year ago and they cancelled my order because they wanted me to reply to my payment confirmation e-mail "to make sure it wasn't a fraud" but never bother to make this clear or even explicit!. I Gave them one more chance this year during the black Friday sale but I mistakenly used by business card. I tried calling (no luck after many attempts). So, when I went to pick it up I waited in line for the very slow and unfriendly customer service dude. I asked if my order could be charged to my personal credit card instead. He said they could, but I would have to go to another cash at the other end to request a return, then come back to the first cash, line up for a third time and pay for it again, mind you at a full price, because the price I had payed "only applied during Black Friday" and (as the impersonal manager put it) the online orders have nothing to do with them...WOW!!! Learn my lesson this time and will never buy anything from this awful place again."
"Two Nvidia shields bought over 2 days, neither would boot . Returned next day and 10% restocking fee charged. Will never shop here again. Pure crap experience! Stay away. Even Bestbuy is better. "
"Bought a mechanical keyboard via Amazon Marketplace because it was on $40 off sales. My debit card was immediately charged around $160.
But later on the day, I've decided to cancel my order because I felt like I made a wrong choice on the item.
They replied to my online order that they received my cancellation request, and the order was cancelled. BUT my balance wasn't recovered from the expense.
It's been a couple days or so, and they haven't done any refund back to my account. Tried calling them since 3PM till 6PM, NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. My $160 vaporized just like that. Oh, and CCE kept their merchandise and the money till now.
Always been proud to support Canadian retail stores, but this one is absolutely garbage. Hope you all go bankrupt. Damn criminals."
"0 customer support, has been waiting for my shipment for 6 day when the website said it only takes 2 days"
"Literally the worst customer service in all of Canada. You can't call into customer support because there's nobody there who cares. They don't respond to support tickets. They don't answer the phone. They don't check their emails. Their "24-hour shipping guarantee" is a flat-out lie. If your item is not available they will never tell you, just keep your money. If you buy from them, you will never receive the product and enter into a nightmare realm trying to get your money back. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS"
"I bought a "gaming pc" from this place and it was $1500. The ram slot was blocked and it came with 8GB. Also, I was planning on buying a headset which was $160. At Canada's Computers they sold it for 130 whereas Amazon sold it for 70. Not advertising Amazon, just stating the truth. This place is NOT recommended for anyone looking to buy gaming components or electronics in general. Overpriced and bad quality. "
