"Everything went very smoothly until FedEx delivered an empty box. The box had been opened on the bottom and sealed with a tape size different from CapLink's. I was able to get right through to Customer Service. They concluded that the theft had to be in the FedEx system and asked if I would start the claim process - which I did. "Ordered a Garmin GPS mount and $280 Mapsource software the best prices I found anywhere on the web with the added appeal of free shipping. Reseller ratings gave me confidence. Got a confirmation next day that my order had been sent to the warehouse for shipping and that I should receive a mail within 24 hours with a tracking number. So far so good. But after 3 days no email and the web site status showed "Tracking Information Currently Unavailable, Check Back in 24 hours". I mailed them and never received a response. After another 2 days I phoned them. They answered with a simple "Good Morning" so I had to double check who I was talking to, and with no explanation or anything they simply gave me a tracking number. I checked the tracking and it showed that it had been delivered a couple of days earlier. Turns out it had been delivered to my apartment management office with no notification given to me - not Caplink's fault but if I had had tracking info as promised or a response to my email it would have saved some worry for me (it was an expensive order) and avoided a phone call.
Finally, items were packaged on inside edge of the shipping box with the space in the middle filled with plastic "pillows". When cutting open the box i cut into the CD box inside.
So mixed feelings - I got what I wanted in good time at an excellent price but tracking information, lack of email response, lack of phone professionalism and poor packaging disappointed me."

"This was a good buying experience. I was wary of them from reading some customer reviews, but they had the best price on the GPS I wanted. I called ahead of time and made sure that what I wanted to buy was new and unused, and that they had it in stock. They did, and were friendly and responsive on the phone (I wasn't put on hold at all). My GPS was shipped almost immediately and I was given a Fedex tracking number. It arrived only a day or two later, and was in perfect condition."
