"I have a 2001 Volvo S60. It took hours on the phone with my car Vin # and multiple Volvo Dealerships just to find out what steering rack originally came in that vehicle! It was very nerve racking not knowing if you were going to take the old rack out to find out you had the wrong replacement. Anyway, Volvo had discontinued the original steering rack for my year(OH LUCKY ME!) and would upgrade only to a new rack, total cost $2000! Crazy!
