"Although I got a little of the typical reseller arrogance when I called to say something was missing from my order (they said that never happened*), they sent another shipment with the missing item. Disclaimer: this was a very small (less than $20) order. Things could be way different with a more expensive missing item.

PS Why don't these places understand that customers are used to having their butts kissed? Every time I deal with an internet-only dealer, I'm always wrong. If they'd just get the idea that the customer's always right (still a good idea if you're selling something), they'd do better. Plus, you have to back it up, of course.

However, I ordered a “cold cathode” light and received what is widely recognized and more commonly known as a neon light (One has black plastic ends on both sides (neon) and the other is thinner and only has plastic on one side (cold cathode))

(the package even said "neon" while my receipt said "cold cathode")

I inquired about this and this is the response I received (beginning and end parts have been edited out for space sakes:

When in fact as you can see by the supplier link I have listed for you
these are indeed Cold Cathodes.
If you truly do not know the difference and are only going by the packaging

This is a clear discription of the light you received.
As you can see in the first line we are not hiding anything or misleading, a cold cathode is a neon light.
Heat ,Voltage,and tube size are the only difference.
As per Cathode discription this light meets them all.

His site didn’t have a clear picture at the time (it has a slightly better one now) and technically he is correct…

… but who wants to buy from someone who blatantly misleads and the defends himself with semantics? Is this the kind of person you would want to do business with?
He did offer an RMA, but with a 20%!! Re-stock charge, and return shipping---I decided it would be a waste of time returning it...caveat emptor
