They have ZERO communication. They sent the wrong gun, then it took an act of congress to ship it back. They won't give you a phone number to call, its all email and they won't call you and won't reply to email in a timely fashion.
The gun they sent matched the box it was in, just not what was ordered. They blamed it on the manufacturer. It has taken 6 weeks and instead of just calling and talking to me, they finally just refunded my money.
I don't ask for things to be perfect, but when things go wrong, communication is key and non-negotiable. If someone doesn't want to communicate when money and guns are on the line, find a new line of work. Then again, if they keep treating people like this the problem will resolve itself. I won't be buying from centerfireguns.com again."
"Ordered a rifle on a Sunday. Web site says in stock and all good. Gives confirmation number. I don't receive email confirmation, but hold is put on money right away. I try to contact Centerfire Guns through their web site, by email, and by phone. Nothing. Web site says confirmation number is wrong. Money is held for 5 days then released. Order apparently canceled by them with no communication. I could have purchased elsewhere, now out of stock. Worst retailer and customer service ever. I wish I could rate at no stars."
"This company had the best prices for some magazines I was looking for, and they also had some ammo in stock that was hard to find locally. I ordered 6 items off their site, and they sent me emails detailing the progress of the order, as well as a shipping tracking number. The items arrived as fast as I could have expected and they were exactly as advertised. I had never used this company before, but I will use them again in the future if I need anything they sell. Great store."
"Ordered a firearm and accessories on a Monday. I didn't have to do a thing, transfer was arranged by Centerfire with my FFL, the accessories shipped out Monday to my home, firearm shipped Tuesday to my FFL and was delivered on Wednesday. I received emails throughout the process informing me of the status of the shipments and verification of my FFL. I even received an email when my firearm was delivered to my FFL, which was very cool.
I can't ask for anything more, I ordered from another online dealer a few months back, I had to arrange the transfer with my FFL and get this dealer the paperwork and then it took over 10 days for the firearm to ship. Also that other dealer charged my card immediately, Centerfire didn't charge my card until my order shipped. Centerfire has it right."

"After placing my order with centerfireguns, I came across reviews about them on this website. They made me kind of nervous. It turns out that the low price & excellent product (Sig P229 SAS Gen II) was not too good to be true. They received my money order on a Friday and my FFL dealer received my firearm from them the following Wednesday. I emailed their customer support twice and received a response within 24 hours both times (the second time was within an hour and a half!). I would definitely recommend centerfireguns to everyone and will not hesitate to order from them again. "
"I placed an order for a barrel and everything looked fine until I received an email a few hours later from CenterfireGuns stating the following:
"Your orders credit card did not pass address verification. We have cancelled your order and voided the charge on your credit card."
1. This makes no sense. At checkout you enter a billing address and your credit card information. If the address is wrong the credit card process would deny the charge. Yet the charge was confirmed and their second sentence clearly states they have to void the charge on my card.
2. I logged in to CenterfireGuns and confirmed the address on file was correct.
3. I contacted my credit card company and confirmed that the address was correct plus a temporary authorization for CenterfireGuns was present.
In short, CenterfireGuns decided to cancel my order and lie about the reason.
My personal thoery? The barrel had a competitive price compared to other vendors and there was just the one in stock. It may be a search engine booster scheme and when just the one in stock is purchased they only have to cancel that one order and put the item back in stock for the search engine to keep finding the item and boost their search rank.
Regardless of the reason, CenterfireGuns lied."
"I have ordered four firearms in the past, however they have declined to the point where there is no customer service. They do not return telephone calls and do not appear to care. My suggestion is to contact the ATF to determine if they are still in business. I regret having to post this review as they were a great company, however I have decided not to do business with them any longer due to lack of customer support."
