Watch is small

"The description says it is a man’s watch and does provide the case size. If you are like me and unfamiliar with watch diameters, it would be easier if they called it a men’s small. It barely fits my wrist and I have to use the last hole in the band. Even then it is tight. No, I don’t have large wrists. I think this one will be donated to the next church fair. I would buy from this seller again. Not their fault that I don’t know how to size a watch! "

"I wouldn't recommend doing business with this Company as they are very unethical. I placed an order on 8/25/11 for a TW Steel watch and received notification it would be shipping within the next 2 weeks.
I received a notification from them within the next couple weeks telling me the shipment would be delayed for a short period due to popularity and currently not in stock.
Then received another notification advising me my order had been cancelled due to non availability. I immediately contacted them and advised I would be happy to wait until they received another one. I also called and left message for someone in management to call me. I never received a call.
I asked my husband to get involved being the watch was an anniversary present and not happy with this Company.
He called and left several messages and finally he got to speak to somenone in Management.
During this process the watch never was taken off the web site. But, what is very interesting is the company had increased the price almost double what it was when I ordered it.
The manager explained to my husband yes it is still avalable but we had to pay almost double what the company had originally listed it for on the website.
The manage told my husband he would take this up with his management and if he was willing to wait for several weeks he would be able to ship him at the orginal price.
It is now 11/30/11 and no return phone calls and of course no watch! My husband has called and left many messages and not one return call.

So, why would anyone want to do business with this Company? No doubt in our mind this company is very unetchical and could care less about honoring my original order that they acknowledged and said would be shipped!

"Ordered a Victorinox on May 11. Requested status on 15th - Item was backordered and additional 10 business days were requested. Requested status again on May 30th and there was some discrepancy in the system and an additional 1-2 weeks was requested. Called customer service and cancelled the order. They asked for some additional time but I had waited long enough already.

Ordered from another store and got the item within 3 days.

"I have never ever in my life experienced such horrific customer service. I am from Europe but I live in Australia and ordered a watch to give to my sister who lives back home in Europe. When I placed the order the status was 'In Stock' but a couple of days later with no confirmation from the Certified Watch Store I called the customer service and I was told the order has been shipped from their supplier to the warehouse. They had no idea how long is take, up to 10 business days I was told. No estimated delivery, nothing. I was pretty disappointed because I was leaving Australia the following week, so there was a high risk I would not be in Australia for the item to arrive.

Therefore I sent an email to change the delivery address to a European one. I got a reply saying that they wouldn't be able to do that and that I had to cancel the order and place a new one. That made sense, so I called the customer service to ask a few details.

When I got on the line I was told that the order can be cancelled and a new one placed for the new address. The guy at the customer service was super-rude, pointing at my order being dodgy. I really don't know what's so concerning about changing the delivery address from one country to another, especially when your credit card has already been charged - or money reserved. At least that's something I saw in my online statements. A few times he called my home country (Slovakia) 'United Arab Emirats' which is just incredibly rude to do so to a customer.

The representative continued to be angry at me for some reason. In the middle of a sentence I was transferred to their verification department where I was told the order has been red-flagged. I asked a few questions on why and stuff, then apparently their 'internet shut down', so I called again.

I called again. With no greeting whatsoever the first sentence that came to ears was me what I wanted (in a rude way but I cannot use quotes here) ... I mean, seriously, is this how you talk to your customers? Then was asked why I kept calling and I said that I wanted to get details on delivery estimates and other stuff. Once again, the guy was incredibly rude, he did not want to spend a second on the phone with me. I asked about wiring money and he said I couldn't ask questions, I'd be sent an email with the info. I remember I asked something else and he hung up! At this point I'm seriously shocked.

I guess I understand there must be some orders that are not legit and perhaps mine looked suspicious but if they had asked I would have scanned my passport or a drivers licence for them, or whatever, I just wanted to get the watch. From a customer's point of view - I placed an order, paid with a credit card, checked it and the money has already been taken, and now I'm ridiculed by some customer service. Just shocking.

So I called for the very last time and (they must see the number you're calling from) the first response I got was why I kept calling and I was asked to hang up otherwise I wouldn't be able to order from them any more. I asked if he was serious and and he said he was. Then he said that the United States was a free country and they don't have to take my call if they don't want to ... oh my god. So I hung up.

Oh gosh, just ridiculous!!! I shop online a lot but I've never had an experience anywhere close to this one.

Look, I understand that perhaps they don't like to deal with international customers because it's too much work for them etc. but they charge $75 for shipping. If you don't want to deal with international orders, why do you accept them at all?!

I'm sure the Certified Watch Store is a good place to shop if you live in the US, as the prices are great but if you are an international customer, STAY AWAY!

EDIT: I'd really love to hear back from their general manager and I urge him / her to listen to the phone conversations if they record them.

EDIT #2 as a response to Certified Watch Store's rep answer:
Paragraph 1: Maybe there's a lot of fraud in UAE but I never mentioned it and never wanted to ship it there - I find it quite unprofessional of you not to read the review you're responding to in full. I never wanted to post anything to UAE - your representative came up with the country. As said, incredibly rude.
Paragraph 2: You told me I could wire the money on which I asked for more information, was told I would get an email which never came, and I never called since! As the mention of the email came up in the very last phone call.
All in all, I'm just shocked that you can't even apologise to a customer - it was not about 'not getting the watch', it was about being treated like rubbish which is totally unacceptable.

I bought two watches from Certified Watch Store and they were delivered within 3 or 4 days.

"I have a Wenger Swiss Military watch that I bought over three years ago on Ebay.com, I only used it a couple of times in the 3 years that I have owned it. I took it out of the box and there is something definitely wrong with the movement. I was looking online for a Wenger watch repair shop because I wanted to get it repaired. I found out that it would be cheaper to buy another watch from Certified Watch Store than repairing the Wenger watch.

I looked around online and found Certified Watch Store and I was able to buy two watches for $29.99 each and both watches retailed for $120.00. I bought two of them for $29.99 each and that is probably cheaper than what I could have had my Wenger watch repaired.

Thank you Certified Watch Store, if I need another watch I know where to order!

Certified watch store is legit

"Recently took a chance on certified watch store with a watch purchase. I usually don't buy gray market, but the price was too good to pass up. I couldn't find many online reviews but decided to roll the dice anyway, and so far I'm glad I did. They sent tracking info asap and when it came, there were no issues at all. Brand spanking new and beautiful. If I ever need to use their included 2 year warranty, I hope the experience is just as easy and pleasant as the purchase was."
