bad customer care

"bought rims an tire from this company at least 4 times in the last 3 years this last time bought rims an the tires they told me i needed for my rims were to skinny now cant get them inspected cuz of this an they are unsafe to my trike an to ride on the road an this company wants to do nothing to fix the problem worst customer care an company ever"

Very bad store , scam and fraud

"Very bad experience with Chaparral Motorsports
They are nothing but scammer and fraud they manage to sell in a big band like Walmart , they will send you bad quality products and if you ask for a refund or exchange they will refuse till you pay more than double . Never deal with them save your money and time

Refused to allow return of wrong shipped item

"I purchased a motorcycle tire and they shipped a 19" tire instead of an 18" tire. They then refused to allow it to be returned. I have no use for the tire. This was totally their fault."

Beware

"I purchased two tires and one was shipped. Their order status said the order was complete. After several days of calls and emails they admitted the other tire is on backorder. We went through the dance of cancelling the order and selecting a different tire and when it was received, it was manufactured in 2013. No one should sell a tire more than 5 years old - especially when stored in the desert. Their customer service is terrible. They apologize nicely but do nothing to solve the underlying problems. I won't ever buy anything from them in the future and recommend to my friends that they don't either.

Zero customer service/communication

"I placed an order on 03/15/2022. Credit card charged on that date. On 03/22/2022, after receiving only a confirmation of order and no shipping info, I called to check on the status of my order. After listening to music and being thanked for dealing with Chaparral Motorsports for over 15 minutes the phone line went to “Leave a voice mail”. I left a voice mail and never received a return call. I called again on 03/25/2022 (twice) and after being on hold for over 15 minutes I was requested, once again, to leave a voice mail, which I did. I called again on 03/31/2022 and after 5 minutes of being on hold I finally hung up. Having left at least three or four voice mails with my phone number and order number I received no return calls concerning my order. I think it’s fair to state that customer service at Chaparral is severely lacking."

Surprisingly Unresponsive

"No customer service when trying to find order status. On hold endlessly listening to their apology for placing me on hold. Frustrated. Reached out through website to track order and try email contact. Nothing. Checked and found awful reviews. Cancelled my order through website. Initial post to my credit card was credited to my account within an hour. Only thing positive that happened quickly. Awesome and easy to use website fooled me. Owner, Dave Damron, needs to pay attention to his business."

Not Interested in Return Business

"I ordered XL gloves that were the same size as the L I ordered from Amazon. Love or hate Amazon, but they paid return shipping. I sent a photo of the two gloves, side by side- same/same. The manufacturer mislabeled them. Chaparral refunded for the gloves but not shipping. They will resell the gloves and not lose a dime, the manufacturer profits, but I have to pay shipping to return mislabeled merchandise. I have photos. This is the cost of doing business, don't penalize me, get with the manufacturer. Never again."

Horrible Customer Service

"Purchased German tire Metzeler and it took a while to receive it. Premium Tire Brand like Metzeler is OEM for my motorcycle and they are produced in Germany and price is premium.
The tire I received is Made in China. The sign is so small that it requires a magnifying glass to find it.
I didn’t want a Chinese quality at German price.
They never specify country of origin on website.
Stayed on hold for one hour and I still was not able to speak with anyone. Multiple attempts to call customer service and without any success.
They used to be a good place to shop but not any more.
Do not buy because you will not be able to speak with anyone! Many other people pointed same experience, I wish I read their reviews before I had my order placed... Very disappointed

Terrible customer service

"Dont expect them to answer the phone no matter what you are calling for unless its vehicle sales you will get a saleman. If you place an order online and need to cancle, you wont get threw on the phone in time to stop the order. They let you sit on hold for over 30 minutes before the recording says to leave a message. I did and no call back. I wasted of 3 hours of my time today before i got someone on the phone. She said it was to late to cancle the order because they are currently packing it. It hasnt left there facility and they wont cancel the order. Said i have to pay to ship back after i receive the order. So my advise is to order from somewhere else. Because you never know if your going to have an issue."

"Just received this helmet which was damaged with a scuff mark on the back of it and the manufacture date was two years four months ago. I had no idea I was going to get a helmet that has been on the shelf that long with damage.
I called the company and was put on hold for 45 minutes when I finally reach somebody they set up I’m not happy I have to pay $7.99 to send it back. Obviously they don’t care about customer relations. I have sent them to emails asking a manager to call me with no reply

Horrible Place

"I bought an item in this business that was supposedly in stock, it remained in status on the website as in process and seeing that it was not being sent I decided to call the customer service. This was a nightmare, impossible to communicate. Through facebook I was able to contact a person and in a phone call they told me that the article did not exist, it was an article already discontinued so I requested the return of my money. Enter the website again and it turns out that they have the item without existing as an offer. I do not recommend anyone to buy in this place."

Terrible Customer Service

"Ordered dirt bike goggles for my son. A week later they call no longer available. Okay, I order a different pair and instruct Chapmoto to ship to my son in CA. A week later the goggles are at my doorstep. I called immediately, waited over an hour to get customer service and Austin tells me he has to speak with supervisor to get a prepaid return label and he will call me back. HA! That didn't happen. I got sick of wasting my time gave up and shipped (at a cost of $13.00) it myself. Beware Chapmoto has no customer service. Wish I could give them zero stars!!"

BE AWARE, they sell OLD tires.

"I ordered two tires for my bike. Tires came in today, rear with the manufacturing date of 03/2019 and the front 07/2018. To me the front tire is already old and I wanted to return it but Chaparral wants to charge me $15 for return shipping. I have ordered tires from them before several times and NONE of the tires were more then 6 months old till now.
I spoke with their rep and his supervisor, they both gave me bunch of BS stating that this is a brand new tire and as long as it is not 5 years old, it is treated as new - BS. I want the most recent, newest and freshest tires for my bike, it has only two wheels and my life depends on them. Unfortunately, the supervisor that I spoke to knows best, so she thinks.
So BE AWARE what you're buying from them if anything, they will sell you OLD tires and think nothing of it.
Because how they handles my purchase, IT IS my last purchase with CHAPARRAL, no more OLD tires for me.

Canceled My Order after checking Reseller Ratings and BBB

"I placed an order with these guys for a Vance & Hines airfilter kit for my Yamaha Bolt. This outfit sells them for 179.99. I place my order and get a conformation e-mail stating it was back ordered. (no estimated delivery date) I hear nothing from them for 4 days. I request an estimated delivery date, And Josh replied to my e-mail, stating my Tire will be delivered by 30 November. Gee, I didn't order a tire! Whats this guy smoking? I check with Reseller ratings and the BBB and learn Chaparral Motorsports rates an F, and has 100% negative reviews. I promptly called Chaparral and canceled my order. I'll be checking with Visa to assure they don't keep my money. I found the same item for the same price on Ebay, with an guaranteed delivery date 15 October. "
