"Bought 2 tickets from this company. over the internet , The form changed one of the passenger names, and I immediately called to request the correction.. The response is that that would cost 25 dollars to correct a mistake. Then I told them that since it was within 24 hours,I wanted to cancel. Then the response was that it would be $25 dollars per passenger... I went ahead and cancelled and felt that I was ripped out of $50. Customers beware this people would do anything to pick your pocket. "
"I didn't put middle names on my booking. when I called to add this less than 4 ours later they told me that I would either have to pay over $1000 to re-book the flight or pay $225 to cancel. "Briefly, Cheapoair is one of the worst companies I have ever seen. Customer service is below zero. The advisers were not nice to me and they did not do any effort to help me or to solve the problem. I will never book with this fraud company and will never recommend it to anyone.
Description of the problem:
I have booked a ticket to Lebanon from Montreal. My transit destination was in Nice-France. In the airport in Montreal, they told me that I cannot travel because I should have a "Schengen Visa" to pass through Nice-France. When I booked the ticket, there is no mention to a "Schengen Visa" on the website nor in any links. I contacted cheapoair and the advisers were very rude to me. Instead of proposing solutions or solve the problem, they were not responsive at all. Moreover, they send me emails with some links to check if I need a "Schengen Visa" or not. The links did not work and they send me to an empty page "page not found".
Moreover, I tried to check if I need a "Schengen Visa" to pass through the airport in Nice-France to go to Lebanon. I checked the information on:

"Had a $444 credit with them, it was impossible to use, customer service seem to be located somewhere in the middle of the Gobi desert and in spite of 2 calls the first 45 mins, the second 1 hour I got nowhere, in order to save my sanity I have given up. Have nothing to do with this compant."

"I asked them to change my name on a ticket, and they refused. My middle name is NOT on my passport, but they have it on my ticket. I asked them to remove my middle name, and they were rather rude and refuse to do so. So now, they're telling ne I'll have to purchase a whole new ticket. I called and one rep hung up on me. The other rep, was ZERO help. I HATE THIS COMPANY. "

"I received several emails and texts telling me to click on links for itinerary or to check in. Every linkvtakes you to their site to add a car or book a new flight or add a hotel. Not one link takes you to what the link states it will. I requested to fly out of Bush in Houston. They booked me out of Hobby airport in Houston. I would have never know if i hadnt called. "I recently used www.Cheapoair.com for the first time to book a flight and had the worst experience. When you look at the flights, there isn't a way to expand the flight info and look at the connections at all. When I was booking this, it didn't dawn on me at all that I should be able to. The flight that I booked was leaving at 2:51pm and arriving 10:46pm SUNDAY. When I got my email I was shocked that I was actually arriving at my destination at 10pm Monday and the LAYOVER WAS 22 HOURS AND 23 MINUTES. Don't you think that their website should be a little more forth coming with ALL OF THE DETAILS? Or should I have to search their website from page to page for the connecting flight? Make sure the flights don't go from one day to next and on to the next? It just screams scam and anything to sell the crap flights. Oh and if you're a sucker and they get you, and you want to change the flights you better just hand them your wallet and go sit in the corner and cry. "
"The Cheapoair is one of biggest scam that i have ever seen in my life. They deliberately make you pay more for the flight . This online ticketing agency is fraud . All the customer representative deliberately make mistake and then make you pay more. In my case I was booking flight from cheapoir.ca in canadian funds . The flight was 2500 Cad and i entered the credit card information to book the flight then all sudden my flight price shooted 5500 Cad. So they charged 5500 CAD to my credit card. I called the billing dept. They refused to refund. I will request all you guys to never buy ticket from cheapoair because all they do is fraud in various ways either by messing up your ticket or charging in USD even if you are booking at cheapoair.ca or sometimes they will charge undisclosed fee's about 500 USD . So i would recommend all to " Not to buy ticket from Cheapoair" otherwise you will be victim of fraud like myself"
"I found the way cheap air runs their business is near criminal. I had booked an international flight through them on Air Serbia. A month later the airline cancelled the flight and all flights to the destination for the surrounding days. I was refunded my airfare from Air Serbia, but cheap-o-air refused to refund 150 dollars for the insurance I purchased. I understood that if I had changed by date of travel or cancelled my trip I would have lost my insurance payment, but the airline cancelled the flight and cheap o air will not refund my insurance payment. So i am paying 150 dollars for nothing and the changes were nothing I had anything to do with. I would have gladly gone on the date that the tickets were booked for. I find this is an unethical business practice- they essentially stole my $150. Based on the way this company operates, I would highly recommend avoiding them."
