"Thought I could beat the odds and get a great price. Seemed like people only had problems if they had to make a change. Not true. Made a reservation and got email confirmation. When I arrived at the airport, no ticket. Customer service admitted they hadn't made the reservation and then acted like they were doing me a favor to give me a refund!!! Then tried to sell me a hifhwr priced ticket!! I declined. I'm sure you can imagine the price for a ticket at the airport on the same day you're leaving!"
"Had to call an agent because the website couldn't remember my selections. Had to cancel due to illness and the merry-go-round started. The call center is in the Ukraine. 1st agent was so poorly trained with a terrible accent, I had to hang up and call again for another agent. The second agent was a little more understandable, but lacked basic cancellation info. If I had taken his advice and used the future credit option with the airline ( I bought insurance ) I would have lost 90% of my fare with NO option to use the insurance down the road. To make matters worse, cheapoair charges $50.00 per person to cancel the booking. They profit from the ticket sale ( insurance reimburses NOT cheapoair ) then profit from your illness cancellation. I had to call the next morning to speak with a third agent to actually cancel the flight. Do yourself a favor, use a travel agent, as after you add on all of the extra charges, it's really not worth it using these online sweatshops. "
"I booked my flight with Cheapoair. Unfortunately they provided wrong email address to the airline and I wasn't able to check in on line resulting a fee of EUR$110 ($180 cad$) for checking in over the counter in Dublin. Cheapoair denied any responsibility for the mistake and even after various phone calls they refused any reimbursement or good will to resolve this. Please stay AWAY to avoid hassle while abroad. Former customer. "
"I booked a room for three people with two beds. When checking in at the hotel I was informed that only one bed had been booked. I called CheapOair but got no help. I had to pay for extra bed 420$. Later on after numerous phone calls I was promised to be reimbursed but I never got the money back. "
"I bought a ticket for a specific day and time, and as I was going through the purchase, that information disappeared. I was confused but **trusting**. BAD. When the booking went through, it was for a different day and time. WHAT?! I asked for a refund immediately, and instead of one chargeback of refund, they started sending credits for PENNIES to my account?! BIZARRE.
I think I only got about a 25 cent refund. TERRIBLE SERVICE when I spoke to someone on the phone about it. Kept trying to sell me another flight, but the trust was already gone. DONT USE THIS SERVICE!"
"I bought a ticket on July 16 th to travel from IAD to ISB submit the payment and received a booking confirmation email. A week later I tried to check my itinerary on their website but couldn’t find anything called them and they told me that the price for the ticket went up so their ticketing department couldn’t book my ticket. They didn’t send me any information regarding this so if I didn’t call them I wouldn’t have found out that my ticket was not book and how stupid is this that they show you a price on their website and when you book it and after receiving the confirmation that your ticket is booked they tell you that you can’t get the ticket at that price. One more thing their customer service is horrible when called them the customer service representative who answer my call couldn’t answer my question and then he put me on hold for more than 30 minutes and then the call was disconnected. I’ll never buy from chepoair again and won’t recommend to my family and friends either "
"They get your credit card information, then say they only have seat in the first class, charge you tons per seat after got your credit card. official airline websites give you 24h to cancel your ticket and it is free. Cheapoir charges you cancellation fee immediately after booking. They charged me a lot for cancellation immediately after booking. This company is a scam. Please don't go with it. I lost lots of money for no trip."
"Amazingly lower rates... really unbeatable "
"I could not be more disappointed and frustrated as I got today talking about an hour over the phone with them. Cheapoair.com is a total untruthful and unreliable website to buy a ticket or reserve a thing. Before today, I could not understand why such a horrible website still is working, but after my today experience, I knew how. Simply by ripping off people and deceiving them by 24 hours return policy and totally useless insurance. If you want to change the flight they are charging you more because you don't have other option. And after all, if you decided to cancel that they also charge you even in a 24-hour window. Their 24 hours cancelation policy is a scam; the price check is a scam too. Right in front of my eye I could check the price of the same flight on airline website, but the guy told me it was more than what I could see mysefl!!!!! their system showed something as much as 90 dollars higher!!!! What a surprise??? Almost none of their promises are reliable.
Please use Google or simply go to the airline website to reserve your flight. At least you deal directly with them not a deceiving middle company.

"The site makes it so easy to browse and always the Cheapest airfare "
"My experience with CheapOair was really good. No problem with this company "
"Constantly run ads for fares that do not exist. When call and report i'm told that fare must be gone, but NEVER corrected."
"It was very good experience "
" I booked via CheapOair (booking #46194648) a pair of round-trip coach tickets between SFO and CHS. I later asked CheapOair to upgrade the tickets from coach to first class. I verified with the airlines (American and United) that they charge no penalties for such an upgrade. CheapOair should have charged only for the cost of the ticket upgrades and a second booking but instead it charged the full cost of both the coach tickets and the first-class tickets. Thus, I was overcharged for the full cost of the coach tickets ($1,392.20.) CheapOair adamantly refused to refund this overcharge. My credit card company (Capital One Visa) was useless in moderating this dispute--they merely accepted whatever CheapOair charged. Now CheapOair does not respond to my online correspondence. My only recourse for this grossly fraudulent overcharge seems to be a lawsuit but the overcharge ($1,392.20) is not enough to warrant such action. CheapOair must realize this. Are there any regulatory agencies that could influence this situation?"
"I booked a ticket on the ir website and at the last minute the itinerary changed on me and in trying to delete it the ticket got through.
Although they claim that a full refund will be issued they they will charge $50. I had to wait for 2 hours to get through, the employees are rude, arrogant , and condescending. Please avoid them and go to the other merchants and do not book any tickets or have anything to do with this vendor. You will regret the experience. I will dispute the charge but the credit comes in bit and pieces and somehow you get a very negative and a bad feeling about this company and how it conducts its business.
