"I ordered a set of Mercer knives from Chef's Resource, and at the time of the order, it had a green check mark next to the product availability with a note of "Usually ships within one business day." Well, I ordered on May 1st, it is now June 8th and I have yet to receive my knives or even an expected shipment date. They can't even tell me when they think their inventory will be restocked. All customer service has managed to muster is that they expect for the knives to come "eventually." Great. In 2103? Should I expect them as a Christmas present? They've offered to cancel my order, but that misses the point of the fact that on their website, they are still advertising this set as available! When I questioned them on this, they claimed they would only change that to backordered if they knew it was going to be unavailable for an extended period of time. Considering that my order is over 1 month old, you would think that would be enough for them to change the product to backordered? I find it ridiculous and misleading that they are still claiming these knives "usually ship within one business day." I happen to really like Mercer knives and I'm holding out hope that they ship before the end of summer, however, after this experience I will never shop again at Chef's Resource. Ever. "

Your company sent the wrong item which was a 130 lb~ $845.00 mistake !
This caused a ''HUGE'' problem with UPS, the first driver refused to pick-up the table, I had to report him to UPS Customer Service because he was not only rude but also because he was obviously angry and unwilling to remove the heavy boxes. I had to call Catskill Craftsmen for pick-up and to deliver the correct item. Therefore my overall experience with Chef's Resource was not good and I would not buy from your company again. Also suggest you lower the price of your heavy items and charge ''white glove '' delivery and not UPS."

When this never came I called the number on the website and was told that since my order was originating from Europe, even though the credit card is "state-side issue" and the billing address is stateside, I would have to produce a faxed copy of both sides of the credit card. "Our new Viking professional coffee maker arrived well protected inside two shipping boxes within a week of ordering. It's design is very attractive and we especially like the placement of the water carafe and brewing basket on the side. The machine is a little louder while brewing coffee, but completes brewing so quickly that its not a problem. Besides, it makes excellent coffee! "
