"I ordered a 2 qt. All-Clad sauce pan on 2/20 for our son's birthday the end of the month. After checking the order status for several days I called and was told that the pan was not in stock. When I asked why that information was not on their website I was told that they had no way of tracking inventory for their on-line ordering system. Obviously, I missed getting the present to our son on his birthday. In fact, he got it 3 weeks after his birthday. I have read other reviews of this company that stated that people got a notification if the product was not in stock and they were able to make other arrangements. I received no such notification until I called, at which time I did not have enough time to make other arrangements. The price was the best I could find and my son is elated with the gift. However, if I use this company again, I will call before ordering to verify that the product is in stock. Frankly, I find it incredulous that they do not have their inventory computerized."
