"I ordered the Copper Core All-Clad 10 piece set for my wife for Christmas. The shipping department at Chef's resource was horrible. My order was placed on "hold" status. I tried to call during posted business hours and an automated message told me to leave a message. I left a message and no one from Chef's resource called me back. I tried to call the next day and was able to speak with a representative. The gentleman told me he had “no idea why my order was placed on hold or what that even referenced.†He then placed me on hold for an extended period of time and said the order would ship later that day and hung up abruptly. I called back and spoke with a different representative. I requested that I be e-mailed with the change of status and was told that I would not receive an e-mail, but would be able to track the status once the product left the warehouse. Customer service was horrible. The box the product arrived in was filthy and damaged. The product seems in good condition, but the exposed copper has corrosion...I suspect the inventory was stored in a damp area. I did receive the product in time to give as a Christmas gift, but only because I followed-up, called repeatedly and had them correct their mistake. I would not recommend chef's Resource since many on-line retailers sell the same products with much better customer service and product arrives in better condition."

Not only did they have a sale price on the item I wanted, but they met and bettered a lower price that I found elsewhere on the web. I ordered it on a Saturday when they were officially closed - the order was shipped on Monday and arrived four days later (with free shipping!). This was all during the week before Christmas! "The pans I bought just arrived and look fine. I had made a mistake during the checkout process and forgot to check "rush" shipping. When I called up on the phone I got to talk to a human right away! No IVR at all. And said human was able to change the shipping configuration on my package. This made my christmas shopping a little less stressful. I would buy again from Chef's Resource. Also they seemed to carry more obscure/higher end baking equipment vs something like amazon or a home store."
"Knowing the price of ceramic knives, I found it difficult to believe that what I was buying was really a quality item, but because of the savings I figured it was worth the risk. Not only were the ceramic knives of very high quality, the extremely fast service and shipping, made the deal even sweeter.
I can't say that I am a huge internet shopper, but I do my share of it, and this has to be one of the best and most enjoyable times I've spent my money. And of course I will check back to see if I can repeat the experience.

"Rarely have I been so impressed with a company's customer service. The ordering process was simple and quick. I ordered four items. When I returned home from a few days of caring for my 92 year old mother (and not getting to check emails) I realized a nice gentleman at Chef's Resource had contacted me about a backordered item. When I didn't reply about a substitution until the 22nd of December he promptly shipped the rest of the order and contacted me again. He went above and beyond and at such a busy time of year.
