"Every order is quick and it's easy to order online or on the phone app. However, I received an item that was damaged. I emailed them with a picture as proof. Not only did they respond the same day, they replaced the item for free. AND, I don't have to send the damage item back. I either can find a use for it or donate it. You can tell when a company treats it's employees properly because it ALWAYS trickles down to the consumer. The customer service in this company is remarkable. I bought a bag of dog food and unfortunately it was delivered ripped open and I was worried that the food was contaminated. I called and spoke with a representative at Chewy.com, super friendly and professional(I wish I remembered her name) and then she immediately sent me another bag of dog food as well as a coupon for future purchases, no questions asked, just apologized for the inconvenience and resolved it better than I could've expected or even asked. "I ordered a crate for our dog we adopted from a shelter and ordered a size too small. When I contacted customer service to return the product so that I could purchase the crate in the proper size, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and painless the process was. I am assuming return shipping was fairly expensive, and instead of asking me to eat the cost, they asked me to donate it to a local pet shelter instead, which definitely earned extra loyalty points from me. The customer service representative was friendly and at times wittily punny, which added a smile to my face. Great company that appears to have good ethical business practices. "I have dealt with a lot of companies over the years and Chewy's is by far the most customer friendly company ever. They are always friendly and willing to satisfy the customer. I have had great experiences with them and always go away happy. I recently had a very bad day and unfortunately my order arrived from Chewy's with the bag was ripped and cans dented. I grabbed the phone and let them know that I know it was probably the shipper. I felt that they should know how things were arriving and I never expected what they did. They sent me another bag of food and refunded me for the number of cans that were dented. I was floored and by the end of the call, they had asked for pictures of my fur babies. I figured it was to humor me. Who doesn't want to talk about their fur babies. A few weeks later, I recieved a precious mini oil portrait of one of the pictures I sent. I'm telling everyone how wonderful Chewy's is. They have a customer for life. "

"I've been on automatic order for a year buying 2 bags of buffallo blue basic, grain free 24 lbs dry dog food. When I got my last order they jacked the price up $5.00 a bag, which was $10.00 more per order. So I went online to checked out their prices and it was advertised on their site $5.00 a bag cheaper than what they had charged me. So I called customer service and told them what had happened, and the lady on the other end of the line was not sympathetic at all and could of really cared less. Basically told me that's the way it was and there was nothing she could do about it. After reading all the Reviews from everybody else about such wonderful customer service makes me wonder how much of that is true.
Well if anyone else gets this kind of treatment, do as I did. Cancel out of chewy and go through Amazon prime. It's cheaper than chewy and you can have it delivered monthly, every 2 months, etc. "
"I had an issue with my dog having a lot of bowel movements and had to switch to another food. They sent me the new food within 48 hours and had no problems giving me a refund for the open container. Additionally they sent me a bag of food inadvertently and they didn't want it back they wanted me to donate it. They are always available and extremely helpful. I highly recommend using them."

"Chewy.com is honestly so amazing. Not only are their products fresh, but delivery and prices are fantastic.
I ordered a shipment of food and treats last week, and received them earlier this week. Sadly, my 13 year old pooch had to be put down yesterday. I called today to ask about returning the un-open products, but to my surprise, was given a full refund, and was told to donate the food. This meant a lot and displayed how caring and understanding the employees are as well.

"So, I ordered the wrong size cat litter box in addition to two litter disposal systems that I realized too late that I didn't need. I got in touch with a 24/7 chat rep, and she immediately issued me a refund. And THEN, as I was inquiring about what I needed to do to print the return shipping labels, the rep told me to just donate the items to a local animal shelter instead of sending them back. WHAAAT?! Now THAT is customer service and a company I can stand behind! I contacted a local cat rescue, and they are going to come by and pick up the items later this week. Way to be, Chewy. Way. To. Be."
