"I ordered through Chewy.com because we had received a $15.00 off coupon. The flier said 1-2 day shipping. I ordered on Saturday, the items shipped on Saturday and then the tracking said it would arriving on Wednesday. I chatted with a rep and they said that FedEx home doesn't deliver on Sunday or Monday so my shipment would not arrive in 1-2 days. No where on their website does it tell you that. This is a first and a last for Chewy."

"Just finished chatting with a wonderful customer service rep named Joon! I had my dog food delivery in autoship. I received email confirmation, and quickly had to call because unfortunately we had to put our beloved Titan-German Shepherd dog to sleep 2 weeks ago, and therefore we don't need the dog dry food anymore :(

Chewy was wonderful, caring and understanding with this situation. They not only refunded me the money, but told me to keep the food and donate it to a local shelter. I almost cried! I couldn't believe it. THANK YOU CHEWY for everything that you do for our beloved animals! "

"I cannot say enough about my experience with Chewy! We have been using the auto ship for a while now (super easy to make adjustments to and nice to just have it at our front door without needing to think about it) but our chocolate lab was just diagnosed with a grain allergy which meant us having to change her dog food. We of course found this out only one day before her new shipment arrived so we contacted chewy right away and were more than delighted when they said they'd ship us her new food right away, make any credit adjustments to our payment and asked us kindly to donate the dog food to our local shelter. This process made things so much easier on us and it was hassle free. They are kind and just "get it".

"Twice I have had issues with orders I have placed, both times were 100% my fault. I ordered a product that did not fit my needs for one, and another had a missing manufacturer part. Both times Chewy customer service went above and beyond to resolve my issues, one time by replacing free of charge and the second time by sending me an item that would fit my needs (both times without having me pay to return ship the item and both times giving me free shipping for the replacement). Now considering both of these errors were totally my fault, the fact that they covered the expense and loss to make it right, WITHOUT me ever asking them to do so, says that they care about their customers needs and go the extra mile to help out. Far beyond what anyone would expect when you are the one making the error.
All I can say is I will always use this company for my orders. On the VERY RARE occasion they are not the cheapest place to buy them anyway, even if I had to pay a little more, its worth it knowing there will never be a headache dealing with the order. I would recommend them to anyone.

"Tried to order cases of Royal Canin for Oakland Animal Services as a donation. Received repeated emails that order was being cancelled (every day 3 days in a row) since the prescription had not been called in by shelter vet. After speaking to rep about having to reconfirm order (multiple times), rep tells me that prescription has been received.

4 weeks later, I call to check that food has been sent to shelter....chewy claims there is no prescription and has cancelled the order.

But, today I had one of the best experiences I have ever had trying to return something to a company. I called to return a shock collar we decided we did not have the heart to use and the customer service rep (wish I had gotten his name) told me that I would receive a full credit and advised me to donate the collar to a shelter or give it to a person who needs it rather than send it back.

"I wasn't expecting a coupon for Chewy to pop up in my mailbox, but am I ever glad it did. I have many pets, and Chewy helps me spoil them. While I wish they had a wider selection of products, they make shopping there such a pleasure. All of my products have arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

The one time I did wish to return something (because my pet had unfortunately passed away before it arrived.) They completely understood and not only gave me a refund, but allowed me to keep the item and suggested donating it to my local shelter, which I did. "I have been ordering things from Chewy.com for a while now, but had my first experience with their exchange department today. I ordered the wrong size coat for my dog, and when I reached out to them for an exchange, they were incredible! Their response only took about 10 minutes, in which they asked me to donate the item, credited me the cost, and added the correct size to my shopping cart for me. "Chewy has extremely fast delivery, a good selection of dry dog food at competitive prices. But the customer service is what stands out. Due to weather delays, FEDEX seemed to have lost two of my shipments. Chewy got after FEDEX which then provided calls to inform me of new they were delivering that day (1100 PM) and follow up to ensure I received the packages. Chewy followed up with a written note to express regret for my experience. Moreover when it appeared the shipments were lost Chewy immediately issued a refunded. I called when the packages arrived to be charged but Chewy would not. Amazing customer care!"
