Worst customer service ever

"Worst customer service ever. I placed an order with them and then sent them an email with my tax exempt. They canceled my order and canceled my account instead of just saying sorry we don't accept tax exempt. Is this how you deal with customers. This should be customer service 101. I hope to see you filing bankruptcy very soon. Customers are the main base for any business and you clearly don't deserve to have any customers or do any kind of business with."

We received bed bugs in our order

"We received a cat condo recently that came with bed bugs that we saw come out of the box. Chewy is refused to fix the bed bug infestation even after sending multiple pictures. They caused the bed bug problem shouldnt they fix their problem. This just proves chewy doesn't take responsibility or care about their customers. Now they are taking down my reviews because they don't want to lose business "

Service consistently declining …

"I've been a loyal Chewy's customer for the past 5 years, and I've always been very happy with their customer service and on-time shipping/delivery. Over the past year though, this has drastically changed. Shipping went from same/next day to taking up to 3-4 days. When you call to inquire about shipping estimates, you get rude and defensive representatives chock full of excuses (Yes, yes I know …. Pandemic-related delays. When does that umbrella excuse stop being "a thing"). My orders from Chewy's are for PRESCRIPTION dog food, for my dog who has pancreatitis and can't eat anything else. It's obvious Chewy's could care less about the urgent nature of their orders, but WE care and their lack of urgency, responsibility and civility are unacceptable. Shape up and take responsibility for your unprofessionalism Chewy's …. You're not the only game in town."

Fast Service, Great Shipping Even With Supply Chain Chaos

"I was able to find my cats food at Chewy and they shipped it fast. The supply chain disruption is real and most of the time companies don't know when or if product will come back in and I'm glad Chewy had what I needed."

NEVER AGAIN!!!

NEVER again!!!! this has been the most frustrating experience...I have shopped Chewy a few times and usually no problem. The problem was with fed ex not being able to do their job properly but Chewy's "fix" ended up causing more stress and problem and they keep telling me they refunded my money to paypal but it never showed up.... time to find a new pet supply shop.

How to Choose the Right Office Chair

"We’re talking office desk chairs today! Pretty interesting stuff, right?! But no really, it actually is. Did you know that the average American sits an average of 13 hours a day? That’s a lot of chair time! However, take a step back and look. Sitting is an important part of the day, and one that we cannot practically—and shouldn’t want to—eliminate. From body size and shape to gender and generation, each play a role in preference of each individual. Your body is unique. As a result, you need an ergonomic desk chair that easily adjusts to fit you, your preferences, and how you work.
Here are a few things to consider when choosing the right executive leather office chair:
Overall Adjustability
It’s important to remember that moving helps reduce pressure on the spine, sends oxygen to your muscles, and increases blood flow to your brain. Movement is healthy and your desk chair should support your body as you move.
Recline:
Reclining in your chair supports the weight of your upper body and as a result relieves some weight from your lower back. Changes in your posture help you stay comfortable and more attentive. You want to choose a chair that enables you to comfortably recline without straining your eyes, neck or arms.

Seat Height & Depth:
When seat height is properly adjusted, thighs should be parallel to the ground with knees bent and feet flat on the floor or footrest. You should be in full contact with the chair’s backrest and there should be adequate space (width of 2-4 fingers) between the back of the knees and front edge of the seat. The most basic lumbar supports are adjusted vertically as you raise and lower the chair back. A fixed depth lumbar is acceptable if it fits you well and does adjust vertically. A chair without either an adjustable back height or an independently height-adjustable lumbar support may not fit many people.

Best customers service, responsive and quick - Good site with competitive pricing.

"Chewy has been great for the many years I've been using them. Their prices are competitive, usually less than other sites and sometimes a little more, which is pretty typical when it comes to online shopping. With the few issues I've had, customer service has been quick and responsive.

Recently FedEx delivery has been seriously lagging deliveries all over the country by an extra 2-3 weeks! My most recent Chewy order has been stalled and stuck at my home states largest shipping hub about 30 miles away from where I live, tracking shows it's just been sitting there doing nothing but gathering dust or getting thrown around, the late delivery is going on over a week past the promised delivery date. Called Chewy and suggested to stop shipping with FedEx, they usually ship with UPS or OnTrac anyways. So they refilled my order at no charge, refunded my previous order and re-shipped it with another carrier with three day delivery and tracking. Also, a long time ago I had a box that had product that broke open. They promptly refunded it. Chewy is excellent for much of my pet needs, and they actually respond to their customers rather than ignore them. A+

"We ordered a water fountain for out cat. It was missing a some part. I called to see if I could get the part, and they next day aired a whole new fountain to me at no charge.
Excellent customer service and they truly care about my animals.

Customer Care for dog with heart disorder

"They’ve been SO helpful with prescription meds and food fir him. He passed 2 days ago; Chewy is refunding us for all unopened food and meds, suggested we donate to a shelter in our dog’s name and offered their condolences to us and our our deceased dog’s brother, who is still looking for his brother all over our home. "

Delivery time

"Ordered past Monday it was supposed to be here today Friday still longer then has taken in the past but guess what no matter pkgs from chewys we have been experiencing this lately so much so that we started doing curbside at the pet stores and are reconsidering are farther engagements with this company for our pets needs / FYI they are aware of our concerns and blame the shipper well who hired who you cannot have a business that provided great service and order arriving within a couple of days to now orders taking three times as long not to mention what is food being exposed to while in shipment extreme temperatures etc "

A very human business

"Our precious Rocky (Papillon/long hair Chihuahua mix passed away Monday (Sept. 6) - earlier that very day we received his new shipment of prescription canned food. Chewy (who has always been very gracious in our workings together) offered to refund the food as well as two unopened boxes of Vetmedin (Rocky's prescription). I am teary writing this thinking about our 'Rock'. We WILL donate those items to area pet rescues. Chewy is quite fine by us. Thank you, Chewy. Keep up the terrific work."

If I could give a less than zero rating, I would.

"The problem is that when you call to check on an item, they lie - it's always 'ahead of schedule' although the item is typically far behind schedule. I don't mind the behind schedule. Sometimes the items are ahead of schedule. The problem is that I take time off to stay home and wait and time is money. Right now, I found out about 25 minutes ago that an order is being delayed (from three days ago) and I've got rotting fruit and veggies sitting in a loading dock because I needed to be here WHEN I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED. Something is wrong if their CSRs feel a need to lie all of the time."

Super Fast Delivery

"I don't have dogs or cats but order occasionally from Chewy for my parrots. On Sunday I placed my order and received it by 2:00 pm Tuesday. Ordered Zupreem foods, perches and feed bowls for my four Macaws. One caution regarding Mid West Snappy Bowls...be careful of fingers/thumb if testing how to slide bowl from bracket before installation in cage. While holding bracket in one hand and sliding bowl in, it snaps quickly in place and can pinch thumb/finger that's holding bracket. The Snappy Bowl and bracket are all metal which hopefully prevent parrots from chewing and destroying. Chewy doesn't have large selection for birds but items they do have are of good quality."

Dissapointed

"I am so dissapointed, I bought the tan version of this tree back in 2020..I was pretty happy and so where my cats..Its currently 2:47 am and I am sitting with the emergency vet because my cat was sleeping on one of the towers and it snapped an broke the whole thing came down on her and she was really hurt! Now if it wasnt for the fact that i was sitting in the same room as this i would have assumed it was just some fluke accident but I was in the room when this happened she was asleep when it broke..Keep in mind I check this tree every two weeks because when we bought the black and white the ramp had broken on one of our kittens and his leg got stuck in between the ramp and the top platform so to be sure its holding up and all that i check because my cats are literally my babies..My poor girl has been really hurt by this..while im sitting in my car outside waiting i decide to scan the reviews and low and behold so many people complaining about the towers breaking randomly! My poor girl cant move her back leg and was yowling in pain. I do not recommend this tree. My cart is full of items i intended to purchase for my cats but I will no longer be using this company anymore for purchases for my animals. I am more than sure I'll get some message saying I'll give you 10% of your next order but I dont want it! I want my sweet girl to be okay and this to have never happened. "
