I placed my order late in the evening on 01/13 (Thursday); it shipped the next day (01/14 - Friday) and received it on 01/19 (Tuesday). "I order an Antec case from them and considered the option for pick-up. Before I did, I called support and ask how pick-up worked as for some reason I could not find any FAQ of where this pick-up location was. I knew it was in CA but not where it was.

Anyhow, I call support and apparently English was not her first language so I had a hard time asking her about it until she just said you need to order it and they'll give the address and repeated that. After that, I did a google search and found the address but still had doubt because there was no link to the location address I found on their site but it was part of their site as well; as if they're hiding the link in their site.

So I took a risk at it and order pick up and luckily it was the address I found on google. After heading there, I want through a good clean process to come in, show ID and proof, wait, and picked up the case. It's been a few months now and it's been working fine.

Overall, it's between an ok-and-good experience; I wish they updated their site on where they were going to pick it up. Just saying CA doesn't cut it.

"I bought a WD Black Caviar 1 TB internal hard drive from chiefvalue because it was five dollars cheaper than its sister website and offered free shipping.
Although it is still operating efficiently now, a little sound of mind is worth a little added expense in the packaging of all hard drives.

Having expended so much money (while penny pinching), I will now no longer buy hdd from websites that don't package hard drives against shock like a retail product does. I think it is a little short-sighted to be able to sell so many hard drive, but not care about the thousands of send back hdd or the data lost because of pennies on the dollars. That's also money lost and irritation at your company for past aggravation. If you care about return customers, you will implement hdd packaging program.

"Awful. Just awful.

Their website is terrible, and I was hesitant to order from them at all, but I couldn't find the product anywhere else, and went against my better judgement.

When I got the notice that my oder shipped, it said that it had been sent out UPS ground, even though I was supposed to get three day shipping. I called to inquire, and the woman who answered did nothing but argue with me the entire time I was on the phone. The shipping wasn't this it was that, it wouldn't ship from here it would ship from there, even though I had the information right in front of me from THEIR email. I finally had enough and hung up the phone.

Never again.

I am having the worst time lately with computer suppliers. Maybe they're all just tired after the holidays, but I have had awful experiences in all three transactions I've made recently to build a system.
