The ink was encased in plastic - a good thing.

However, ink was at the bottom of the encasements. Upon opening the plastic ink got all over my hands and took multiple cleaning of the printer heads to stop the spreading of ink of different colors over the pages being printed.

After about 15 pages the ink spreading stopped. "
