I checked RR.com first of course, and my experience with them backs up their reputation. Everything went smooth, and I received the CPU VERY quickly and very well-packed.

I even had an english-speaking person answer the phone when I called them to verify stock before I ordered! That seems to be a rarity these days.

"I was a bit hesitant at first to place an order with Clubit.com, since it was my 1st time and also because it was for an amount well over $200 (I normally like to try out new places with orders =< $100).

Well, I am VERY pleased that I gave Clubit a shot. Everything went perfectly smooth. I received my order confirmation very quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised when I received notice that my order had shipped out on the same day. Additionally, they shipped Fed Ex and I actually received my order one day earlier than the tracking info Fed Ex had on their web site.

Additionally, I ordered a very specific item: a G0 stepping Intel Quad CPU. And Clubit made good on their claim that the CPU would in fact be this specific stepping. It is nice to see a place that makes good on such a specific claim, such as a particular CPU stepping. And I must say that if they can do this with certain other computer components (such as RAM with specific chips / revisions), this would really be appreciated (and supported) by the computer enthusiasts crowd.

Therefore, I must say that I am VERY satisfied and I do plan on shopping at Clubit.com again soon. And I would suggest to other people that they give them a shot as well.

If Clubit.com has customer service that matches the way they handled my 1st order (and I sure hope they do) -- and considering the competitive pricing they have -- I'd say Newegg has some very formidable competition.
