"I strongly advise against making purchases on the site, the customer service is not at all up to par, the breakdown management for machines under warranty is catastrophic, I have been waiting for a month for a deadline to repair my Rancilio STILE coffee grinder, broke down 15 months after purchase, sent back to Italy at my expense (39€) I have to follow up with them by email every week and I always get the same response: "wait" without any deadline. I am even starting to consider buying a new grin from a serious seller due to the lack of visibility and professionalism of this"
"After months of trying to get anywhere with Matteo and the team on helping fix a faulty grinder within their 2 year guarantee, they simply gave up and stopped communicating with me.
On request to see the fault in more detail, I provided video evidence on numerous occasions but continued to get told that I was running the grinder incorrectly which was not the case. Once again on request from Matteo/Coffee Italia, I then paid £50 to have the grinder sent to Italy to be fixed, but it came back in even worse condition. From that point, Matteo simply gave up and stopped communicating with me. So they still have that £50 and have decided to not fulfil their guarantee, so I still have the broken £350 grinder from Coffee Italia grinder sat at home and cannot get back in touch with them in any way.
I have now reported them to the Consumer Protection Association and Retail Ombudsman. "

Llamas al número que aparece en la web y si tienes suerte que contesten te dicen que todas las gestiones son por mail.
El 21/12/2020 compré una pavoni professional.
El 10/05/2021 informé que tenía un problema que con el grupo de infusión.
Me contestan que hagan pruebas, qué envíe fotos, videos, etc...
Después de 12 emails y de desmontar la cafetera 20 veces en mi casa, me pasa el tlf del servicio técnico de 3 empresas.
Llamo a las 3 ninguna de ellas sabe nada sobre garantías de pavoni.
En esto que la cafetera después de desmontarla parece que vuelve a funcionar ,pero al cabo poco tiempo vuelve a dar el mismo problema.
El 26/07 informo que la maquina vuelve a fallar y me dicen que se encargan ellos, que descargue una etiqueta de recogida para enviarla.
La etiqueta me cuesta 52€ (nunca había pagado por una garantía)
Después de 9 mails la cafetera la recogen el día 21/09/21.
La cafetera la envían a Italia.
El día 08/10/2021 pregunto por la cafetera y me dicen que tardan 12 días laborables.
Después de 15 mails la cafetera me llega el día 18/11/2021.
La pruebo y tiene un problema de perdida vapor por una pieza.
Volvemos a empezar, videos, fotos y 22 mails.
Me propone que haga bricolaje, que le ponga teflón a la pieza, que llame a un taller para que me expliquen cómo, etc...
Finalmente el día 16/02/2022 me dicen que pasaran a buscar la máquina.
El día 21/02/2022 se la llevan y el día 8/03/2022 me envía una fotos que la cafetera ha llegado con el cable cortado y un mango roto, que no lo cubre la garantía. (INCREIBLE)
Es imposible porque si no se enchufa la cafetera, no funciona y ellos tienen videos y fotos de la cafetera enchufada perdiendo vapor.
Después de 12 mails me dice que no me preocupe que lo solucionaran el día 09/03/2022.
Pregunto por el estado de la reparación, me dicen que no saben nada.
Después 8 mails el día 05/04/2022 me dicen que tengo que pagar el cable si no, no lo reparan.
HE PEDIDO QUE ME LA DEVUELVAN SIN ARREGLAR.
NO PIENSO PAGAR NADA A ESTOS IMPRESENTABLES.
LLEVO ESCRITOS 100 MAILS CON CAFFEITALIA.
LLEVO DESDE 09/05/2021 HABLANDO CON EL SERVICIO POSTVENTA.
NO PIERDO NI UN MINUTO MÁS.
ESPERO QUE NO LE TOMEN EL PELO A NADIE MÁS.

"I had the V3 of the Silvia for many years and when it finally failed I had no hesitation in getting the latest model as a replacement.
The boiler on the new model seems a little more powerful, and the portafilter and tamper supplied are an improvement, but the basic functionality is as good as ever. I'm no barista but I love the coffee I can make with this machine, from espresso to flat whites. The automatic 'turn off after 30 mins" (of inactivity) is a plus for me as I did accidentally leave the old machine on all day on a couple of occasions.
As with the previous machine, I ordered from Caffe Italia, mainly because it worked before and was substantially cheaper than UK sources. It's a week for delivery and the packaging was fine - it actually arrived a day earlier than originally stated."
