"We were very specific when calling in. We made a mistake in the delivery address. IMMEDIATELY called back to change it before order was processed. Were held on the phone with person "learning" the system...then when it was completed...the order was STILL delivered to the wrong address. Mistakes happen...we totally understand. The company is probably awesome...however the service was more than Below Average...but we will be kind. And the quality of all three items was less than average. We had looked forward to adding the company to our list of places we shop and suggest to friends...but unfortunately...this particular experience...thanks to one REALLY BAD phone person...left us not wanting to recommend. We encourage readers to try for themselves - but for us - this was not the most positive experience."

"This experience was disheartening. I have ordered from Collections, Etc. before, had some issues which were resolved. This time I am unhappy with the explanation/processing and am not sure I will order again. Let me say that generally the products are fairly good, we've only had one time that a shirt ran very small and were unable to get a larger size. Household products seem great. The issue this time was one item was back ordered. Since I paid through Paypal, I have a detailed listing on that site. The listing includes the back ordered item in the total charged. Collections, Etc. customer service tells me that I was not charged for the item but attributes the amount to shipping and handling. Since the item was only $4.49 (pair of socks) and neither confirmation I received (nor the invoice in the box received) details out the taxes, handling and shipping fees (supposed to be free shipping because of promo code), I cannot totally prove one way or another. I only know it shows as a portion of the amount charged on Paypal. What I am understanding from customer service representative is that if I had not cancelled the back ordered socks, I would have seen an additional charge on my Paypal (without notice?). I feel that they should email out a corrected statement if an item is on back order, showing that they are not charging and notifying of the back order immediately. The invoice received in the box INCLUDED the back ordered socks, (with a note beside it stating it was back ordered for over a month) but did not have prices detailed on it. I am just not sure if I will continue shopping with this site if I cannot track actual details of the charges. "

"I am usually pretty happy with Collectionsetc.com. I like their products and I usually have not problem with my orders.
However, I ordered two of a product a couple months ago and only one arrived in the box. Immediately called customer service to ask for a replacement to be sent. The customer service agent was questioning me like she didn't believe me that the product was missing. I would never think of requesting something without paying. But my husband was right there when I opened the box and the product was not included. The customer service agent kept asking me "are you sure it's not there". Well unless they mysteriously made it invisible - NO, it's not here. So, again, I didn't appreciate being questioned over and over. "
