The 2nd of the three cards came without the promised dual VGA cable but, I call about it. They were pleasant and apologetic and the cable arrived several days later at no extra cost. "I purchased a new DVD drive which wouldn't play or record DVD media once installed. Being a support tech with a major company everyone's familiar with, I checked the drive in several different machines with different OS's with the same result...it didn't work. I contacted Compuvest who mailed me their return policy...buyer pays the return postage AND there's a 25% restock fee as well! I sent the drive back and a few days afterwards, received a confirmation that the drive was tested by them as GOOD. Be aware that I know without a doubt the drive was bad therefore if they restock the item as good someone else will get stuck with it and the return postage/25% restock fee and associated hassles will apply to them too. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone at all given my experience. You may save a few bucks on some of their prices but if they don't work and you're stuck with the return postage and the ridiculous 25% restock fee to restock a bad item for the next customer who comes along, it'll end up costing time, money and frustration for nothing. "The shipment of my order was received quickly. Although, I was not expecting just the CPU processor chip. I was expecting the whole Intel Box that includes the CPU cooling fan and the installation instructions that the processing chip comes with. Maybe in misunderstood the contents of the products before it was being shipped. Other than that it works just fine."

Response to Compuvest: Albeit considerate, I never received an email. The msg was left at an office in which I lease office space and ofttimes am not available there. Therefore, I left a cel number and did not receive a status call. Simultaneously, the msg I left with Compuvest was not returned. Thank you, Compuvest, for attempting to verify this order; however, if the bank didn't confirm the two addresses provided, you may have contacted an incorrect bank. "

However, one processors wont install, it seems to have some bent pins, will see how the return process goes....wait a minute...I just filled out the RMA request two or 3 minutes ago and they just called me and are shipping me a replacement processor! However when I discovered the part was not going to fix the problem I was having and I wanted to send it back, the RMA process seemed tedious and overdone. What was delivered was an sSpec SLB9T which the Intel websited states is OEM PN AT80571PG0602M

I RMAd the part for refund which was denied and given store credit instead with the following explanation:
Item was received as originally ordered as it was not advertised as coming with a specific step code. Store credit is available according to Compuvest's policy.

I provided all the evidence required to demonstrate that the part ordered was NOT what was advertized and shipped. Up until receiving the RMA disposition I was pleased with Compuvest. It appears my only recourse is to dispute the transaction with my credit card company."
