The description of item was just a little misleading: -it was advertised as Mfgr-refurbished, but seems to be just a working-pull. (Dust & dirt inside and out.)
I opted for the 1 year warranty which was just a few bucks extra. The unit works fine and I will probably buy from them again. "

They emailed me an offer to buy that backpack at $54 with free shipping. At that time they showed over 200 of these in stock. Placed an order last night, today got an email from them saying they ran out of stock and when they get the new shipment the cost will be $79. This is a fraud.

Added: after I filed a complaint through PayPal they promised to ship the item at original price. Will update within a week."

"I ordered a 50-pack of Maxell DVD-RW discs from Compuvest and received a 50-pack of Maxell DVD-RTW discs, which are actually DVD-R discs with a white printable surface. The web site and my order clearly stated "DVD-RW". Only by examining the technical details of the item could you see that they weren't actually DVD-RW discs.

Unfortunately, because I'd made the purchase well in advance of when I'd need the discs, I didn't discover the problem until I went to use the discs and it was too late to return them. Compuvest refuses to take them back or exchange them, even though they screwed up.
