"I am very dissatisfied with CompuVest. I purchased a NEW APC smart ups. When I received the unit I noticed that the box was a little beat up and not from shipping. It appeared that it had been opened before. I removed the unit and installed it at a client,s location. Upon powering it up, it did not function properly, in fact not at all. Ok, sometimes we receive defective items. I contact APC and they informed me that the units warranty expired in October 2011. I thought this was a new unit. This is the website and what my receipt stated. I began to pack it up and noticed 2 small dents on the side. APC sent me a brand new unit and upon opening that one noticed a couple of things. The feet were attached, the battery was unplugged and upon turning it on the battery was 90% full. All of the items just stated were completely opposite of the unit I received from CompuVest. The unit that they shipped me was obviously used and defective.
To sum it up, Cudos to APC for standing behind their product and shame on Compuvest for not sending an item that does not match what was purchased."

Ordered a factory refurbished Lenovo USB 2.0 Port Replicator from Compuvest.com Ebay Store. The Factory box I received states "Package includes AC power adapter, DVI...."

When I opened the box there was no adapter... my question was answered

First - I'd beg to differ that it was clearly stated that the adapter was not included. Looking back later I saw it was a 'Comment' line buried in the technical description of the item.

Lenovo and the Lenovo packaging clearly states "Package Includes A/C Adapter...". I would call your marketing deceptive at the least. The item should have been listed as; Lenovo USB Port Replicator without power supply.

However without a power supply the item is useless.

To return the item compuvest policy lists a 15% restocking fee as well. Highly unsatisfactory.
