"I am absolutely livid with this company and am extremely mad at myself for letting what looked like a cheap price lure me into something that turned out to be nothing but a waste of time and money.

Their prices were cheap enough that I was happy to pay extra for an extended warranty, and their shipping speed was impressive, however I did not get what I ordered. Cheap prices and fast shipping mean nothing if I can't use my computer because I am busy waiting around on RMA service requests.

I have to pay for return shipping and even pay shipping again, if I want to cross ship my return, so my computer doesn't sit around dead while I wait for them to fix a mistake they made & I am being forced to pay for. I was charged $10.56 for them to ship me the wrong item but the package indicates they only paid $7.83. Under different circumstances I would dismiss that, but since I am expected to overpay again for my replacement as well as pay to return the item I never ordered - which is heavy and will be costly to ship back - I can't help but be angry. If they took the extra cash from my original and replacement orders they could cover the cost of shipping another (incorrect) item to someone else!

I am taking my buisness elsewhere but I lost $20 and several days as a result of giving this company a chance.

Final Notes: Look through this site and read CompuVest's responses to customer complaints; nearly all are met with combative or dismissive responses, positively littered with excuses. This company should be out of business.

For those who don't look further than this message, be aware that this company sells used merchandise. When consumers complain about being unaware of this CompuVest's reply is "it didn't say it was new." I think it's a safe bet it didn't say it was used too terribly clearly either. I am now almost relieved I didn't get my product; it probably would have been used anyway. Buying from this company is a gamble I do not recommend."
