I didn't receive a shipment confirmation email but it turned out to be a problem on my end.

I wrote an initial review here complaining about no product and no confirmation email and received an email from CompuVest within about 20 minutes, and UPS had delivered the product just before the email arrived.

The price for the open-box product was very good, I got free shipping, and the company obviously cares about its customers since I got such a quick response to my review.

"The order the made. It was fairly straight forward. However when I received the product (laptop battery), it was defective and getting a RMA was easy. The only issue is that they do not cover the cost for return even if it is an exchange for a defective item. The cost of return was approx 50% of the item because of the weight. Other online orders will replace the item and cover the shipping if it is a exchange due to defective item.

Shortly after my review I was contacted by the company and they were happy to reimburse the shipping cost for the defective item. I am immpressed how quickly they wanted to make thing right."

"Ordered hard drive and received it in a timely manner. However, hard drive was immediately defective and notices that part of the packaging had a sticker on it that read "Return for Refund" that I did not see until I was packing it back up for immediate return. Update: Compuvest received the drive after I paid to ship it. In less than 12 hours after receipt, they said that nothing was wrong with it and would not refund my money without a restocking fee plus I'm out the shipping costs. It's obvious they shipped me a previously returned piece of equipment and I am highly unlikely to use a drive that makes a loud scratching noise to ensure my data to. Poor return policy and I am not likely to ever use them again. "
