"CompuVest offered the lowest price for the item I wanted to purchase, plus free shipping. Without free shipping, I would likely go in to a store to make my purchase.
I got a phone call from one of their reps soon after I placed my order on my computer. He asked if I placed an order for 3 items. I did not. He said there was probably some kind of computer glitch and he would correct the information to show I ordered only 1 item.
Soon after, I got an email with my order confirmation and tracking number. A few days later I got my item delivered to my door, and I signed for it, opened the package and began using the product moments later.
It was a good experience start to finish.
Needless to say, if I had been charged for and/or received 3 items instead of 1, I would not have been so pleased! They fixed it before it became a problem."

"On May 4, 2011 I ordered a 6-cell battery for a dell Mini 10v. Today, May 16, 2011, 12 days later) I finally received a product, but the WRONG product. I received a 3-cell battery instead of the 6-cell battery (with NO documentation enclosed). As soon as I recognized the mistake, I called Compuvest only to be blown off and told to go on line to request an RMA.
Problem #2;
the return RMA site REQUIRES you account number so I had to call again to get my account #. I was told it was on my receipt, but again, there was no "receipt" with the product. Once that was sorted out, I got an e-mail RMA.
Problem #3;
After reading the RMA requirements and conditions, I was appalled to see a condition that states: "New retail product that was opened will not be accepted.....". (Who doesn't open a shipping box from a vendor they placed an order with)? Additionally, a restocking fee of 15% - 25% will be charged if "Returned items diagnosed "No problem found "by Compuvest technician....".
Soo...... I feel I've been totally shafted! They didn't have what I ordered so they sent me a product of lessor quality & value knowing FULL WELL they could / would get away with it. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS with this company EVER AGAIN!
