"After much deliberation and research, I decided to take the risk of dealing with a company I had never heard of before, but had good reviews. Being a skeptic, I was concerned about getting burned, but, I have to admit, I am very pleased with my machine.

I spent %1036.00, including shipping, I was told I would get it on the following Thursday, and I did. I had been using an old Compaq, and I like playing EQ, but the old machine had a hard time pushing the graphics, I would lag badly in some zones to the point of not being able to play if surrounded by more than a few players.

This machine does exactly what I need it to do, I am lag free, even with all the graphics enabled, which I never could even think of doing before.

I had expected to spend %1500 to $2000, but was able to get my computer for less, including a 20 inch flat screen, I am having a good time with this machine.

"I'm disappointed with the time it took to process this order. It took one day short of a week. Order placed on a Tuesday, order shipped on Monday the following week. Not counting the weekend, that's 4 business days. I had not counted on it taking so long to process, the order summary indicated that part orders typically ship within 1-2 business days. As I tend to view the weekend as lost travel time, that makes for a considerable delay in product-to-me time.

Three days post order I still had not received status or tracking. My inquiry for status via the website was responded to quickly though, that same day, and said, "For parts orders, we do a full burn in on the parts we're able to test. You will receive tracking information via email as soon as everything that is in stock has been tested."

I did not realize that the parts would be tested, and thought this activity only concerned builds and barebones. (I purchased a mobo, ram, hard drive, and video card.) How does one test a motherboard without a CPU or powersupply anyway? I could see throwing the RAM on a tester maybe, and perhaps even scanning a hard drive for bad sectors, but doing so would be neither time consuming (if it were in fact done), nor would it be considered typical for a standard parts purchase. OEM purchases aside, I would be suspicious of any gear received as "new" that had already been open.

I also feel misled on shipping costs. My online order indicated that it qualified for free Fed-Ex shipping. I was subsequently told on the phone via their rep that free shipping only applied to their builds and kits. In talking with the rep, it was obvious she had had that conversation many, many times before. Seems the website should have a mechanism for accuratley determining shipping costs?

Anything else aside, these issues have already had a negative impact on my experience with this vendor, and I haven't even received the order yet..."

After nearly 3 weeks of research and several emails back and forth, I finally ordered my computer on a Tuesday. It arrived on Friday - that's faster than Newegg for me and Katie threw in an extra case fan as well 8)

Two small problems that were easily correctable - the connector from the mobo to the power button was disconnected and you have to enable the front audio jacks within the Realtek Audio Manager. Not huge issues at all, simply observations.
